Hello, Wish. I recently came across your wakfu arts. I was absolutely delighted. Joris and Alys are so sweet, I love their supportive relationship so much. Thank you for your work. I also really liked the fanfiction that you wrote. I read the main story almost without stopping. Please tell me, if you don't mind, can I make a translation in Russian so that your work can be read by fans from Russia (of course, indicating you as the author)?

Heya, thanks for reading my fics and enjoying them.

Over the past eight years or so, I've been asked numerous times if my Wakfu fics can be translated into either Spanish, Russian, or French. It's an honor to be asked this, it really is, but I never liked the idea of handing my fics over to someone completely unknown and being dealt with in a language I know nothing about. I can't check if everything is in order.

I am fully aware these requests come with good intentions. It warms my heart to know people want to put effort into these things and increase their reach. However, it is the loss of control over something I spent years working on that makes me uncomfortable about these kinds of requests. My Wakfu fics were something I poured so much time and love into, they are (still) dear and near to my heart. So I've never been able to say yes to translation requests for my fics, even five years later. I don't feel good about it but the answer remains no.

Thank you for asking and considering, I really appreciate it, and I'm sorry for my disappointing answer.

I have some catching up to do with art here on Tumblr! Whoops~ Let’s start with Wakfu stuff, shall we?

- In this post we have some Wakfu AU stuff where Alys is a Huppermage and the vacant Eliatrope post is filled by some dude called Qinn and his tiny dragon sibling, Rulzrias. We also have twenty of my “background” Wakfu OCs who all appear in my fanfics in some way or another throughout the past four to five years but never got drawn before. It was time. Then we got some Ambassador Fluff and their height difference shenanigans and fan-made designs for Grougalorasalar and Dardondakal’s humanoid forms/disguises, designed by yours truly, for my Wakfu fanfic Dragon Soul. Today marks the five year anniversary of my character and muse, Alys, and of me rolling around in the Wakfu|Dofus|Krosmoz fandom. I usually draw something for the occasion and because the 10th of June is also Alys’ birthday, I figured I would celebrate it in art form. Our small cinnamon roll is very eager to wish his Mommy a happy birthday so early in the morning. He has a lot planned for the day and even made her breakfast (which tastes awful but is filled with love!). How did the pregnancy proceed in the eliatrope sweatcheroo? If in this alternative universe, Alys gave birth with the help of Dofus, did the family have a place for Mavis? Which of two children will be born a dragon?

Thinking of offspring for dragon!Alys is a rabbit hole; it goes deep and not exactly where one would like to go IF they stick to canon lore logic… which I do. I make it difficult for myself and not fun for anyone else, whoops.

I will need to explain a few things first so my answer and reasoning make sense. This is going to be a bit lengthy so I am going to put it under a cut. Please carry on reading if you’re interested and want to dive into me overthinking and taking stuff far too seriously.

Summary: Shortly after the defeat of the Xelor Nox within the Sadida kingdom, a female Eliatrope is found among the debris of Nox’s Clock. Was she a prisoner of his, or an accomplice? She appears to be incapable of remembering anything prior to her awakening, rising suspicions but also empathy among those present within Sadida. With the help of newfound friends, the Eliatrope slowly begins to unravel the mysteries of her past, herself and her people but will she be ready to face the truth when it comes crashing down upon her? Is it still Valentine’s Day??? No? Well chips. Happy Valentine’s Month then! So this started as a typical “simple sketch with minimum colors and background idea” to celebrate Valentine but as usual my brain and creativity kept adding and adding and adding to the original idea and turned it into a Brutality kill for little old me.
