Prepare yourself for a yap fest

I've been kinda lurking, and from what I've seen, most participants of this event are either MCs or Glitches that interfere with the player, some of them being Rivals to the player if they like a character that can be pursued (all of them are genuinely so cool, i love all of them)

Fayrouz falls in the Glitch category, but not at the start. She's one of those NPCs whose only purpose is to infodump lore on a character (said character being Jamil)

She's programmed as Jamil's childhood friend, and has a soft spot for him. But she does not pose a threat to the player (off-topic, but this also matches her canon TWST counterpart, as she'd gladly let Jamil go if he were to choose someone else. Hence why she isn't a rival)

You won't be able to encounter her in normal gameplay. She is found exclusively in the Jamil route, and even then, you'll have to choose specific options to be able to "unlock" her.

To find Fayrouz, your favourability with Jamil has to be high (at least four hearts. Ignore the fake screenshots where it shows three hearts). In a scene where you help Jamil with his work, a faceless NPC will approach him and tell him his friend is waiting for him in the courtyard. An option pops up where you can agree to meet her in his stead.

If you disagree, you can continue to pursue Jamil as normal.

If you choose to meet her, congrats! You unlock Fayrouz! She will make reaching your goal of getting with Jamil easier💕 or at least she was supposed to

As an NPC, you can't woo her. But you can raise your friendship levels! The higher your friendship level, the more she trusts you. She'll tell you more about Jamil, and how to win his heart!

But the longer you interact with her, she becomes a lot more...odd. Personality wise, she's dreamy. Always talking about how everything felt like a "dream". Nothing felt real to her, and meeting the MC only cements that fact.

She sometimes straight up asks you odd questions

Players are advised not to answer her questions, and instead dodge the question entirely.

But if you choose to tell her the truth, she'll have a psychotic break of sorts. Realizing that everything — all her memories, her feelings, her life — were all fake, she immediately stops caring about everything, Jamil included.

Fearing about what would happen if the player were to delete the game, she does whatever she can to keep the player interested.

But as the player nears the end of the game, her hope diminishes. She will disappear for a while.

Right before the end of the game (before a hypothetical confession scene), she will approach the player one last time...

And the game will crash.

But don't worry! You can boot up the game again and play through it as normal! But it seems as though everyone is avoiding you.
