greatness is not what you think

You all know I’ve been sick and was in and out of the ER and all around suffering since the end of July. You all know I just had my gallbladder removed on Thursday. I’m still in pain and still recovering slowly but surely.

What you don’t know? I wasn’t able to work that whole time from the excruciating pain. I’ve missed 2 almost 3 paychecks. I am also “technically” out of a job as I was not entitled to FMLA or disability and was forced to resign so that I could come back after I was cleared to return to work by my surgeon. Whereas I am in talks with my boss and have no doubts I will be back at work as soon as I can when I get the all clear… That leaves me in a big rut for bills for all of August. I’d love to say we can make it on just my wife’s pay, but we can’t.

If you have anything to spare at all, or if you don’t and just want to share this and spread it around… You have no idea how much I will appreciate it. 

I feel incredibly guilty for becoming ill and being down like this. We had just started to get into a really good place and now this. I hate myself for it, but I know it’s not something either of us could control. If I had waited anymore to get the gallbladder out I would have had serious/worse problems. Not only did I have stones I had a cyst. 

It’s just been… a really rough time and any and all help would be so incredibly appreciated. <3
