mix in obsessive tendencies, silly little smiles, and splashes of paint on articles of clothing and you have amaryllis. she's greedy -- a girl whose parents never taught her to share and she's open about it. her favorite coping mechanism has never been the therapy she probably needed but the light jokes that catapult past her lips at every opportunity. she's also possessive when it comes to the people in her life ( from friends to lovers -- no one is safe ). she's the kind of girl that is either all in or gives you nothing at all. there is no in-between.

amaryllis grew up the only child to parents who wanted nothing but the best for her. her family wasn't well off but her parents always showered her in as much as they could. and she was immensely grateful towards her parents. however, they showered her in complete adoration that she grew to expect from everyone else she loved. she wanted all of everyone or nothing at all because that's all she knew. her parents only ever gave her all of their love no matter what. so, her expectations for others are the same. when they fall short, she tries to find ways for that to change. small "why won't you love me's" could still be heard echoing throughout her brain from unrequited loves. as an only child, she was never taught to share. everything that was hers simply belonged to her. and if she found out others had access to anything that belonged to her, she had to fight all of her instincts to do something about it. although, sometimes she can't fight the irritation that slips into her system and tints everything with a hue of red. but she was trying. there are multiple things she's always obsessed over. when she was young, it was collecting random things like barbie dolls. remember this is a girl who only knows all or nothing. so, you either have all of her attention or you don't. she went from obsessing over items ( barbies, bratz, pokemon cards, lazy town ) to obsessing over people. she latches onto people that she deems interesting in some way. sometimes it could be small things that reel her in and suddenly you're often crossing her mind. suddenly she appears a little too much around you and makes her way into your life. the moment she likes something about you -- all bets are off. steer clear!

i'm looking for friends, ex-lovers, crushes, unrequited loves, family friends, explosive friendships, childhood bestie, and others! throw them all my way! i have a few plots i have for her and will probably add to the list as i think of them! β‘ MUSE (1/1) - this is someone who was and has been her muse for years. they had no idea the extent she was obsessed. they are the only person amaryllis ever paints or draws. she's quite frankly obsessed with them and painting them how the world sees them but also how she sees them. she's deemed them her life's project because they're so versatile and have so many sides to them. plus, they are beautiful. and she can't let them go no matter what may have happened to them. they're one of the things constantly running through her mind. β‘ MINE (1/1) - this is someone who she is obsessed with romantically. she often daydreams of them and being with them. in her eyes, they are absolutely perfect for her. she has a tendency to show up where they are and glare at anyone else who gives them attention ( depending on who they are ). she tries to reel it in but constantly fails. but when she feels threatened, she might act out. β‘ NUCLEAR (0/1) - a friendship/relationship in flames. this was the first person she ever obsessed over. she wanted to be around them constantly and showed up everywhere they were. they couldn't go somewhere without seeing her. one day they found out the extent of her obsession and ever since then they have avoided her as much as possible. her obsession has clearly dwindled and she wants to rekindle at least the friendship they had but who knows what'll happen. β‘ ANCHOR UP (0/1) - a friendship that is keeping her centered. this is the friend that reels her in. because of them she's trying to stop being so obsessive and constantly allow her possessive tendencies to take over. sometimes before she acts, she reaches out for their insight. and sometimes she falls short and shows up at their house telling them about her crazy antics. they're kind of her anchor that she desperately needs now especially with the death of hope. β‘ PEACE (0/1) - someone who has a problem with amaryllis. we can discuss what that is but maybe they knew someone she was obsessed with? maybe they don't like that she's constantly around? maybe they aren't a fan of the way she snaps photos of them when they're not looking? the options are endless but this person has a problem with her and she develops one with them. she'll never give them peace. β‘ INFORMANT (0/1) - amaryllis obsesses over people and tries to find out as much as she can about them. maybe this person is her provider of information and lets her know who is who and always is willing to share information about others. β‘β‘ more to come !
