Don't Forget

There will come a time in your life when you become absolutely infatuated with a single soul. For this person, you’d do anything & not think twice about it, but when asked why, you have no answer. You’ll try your whole life to understand how a single person can affect you as much as they do, but you’ll never find out. & no matter how badly it hurts or how badly you hate it, you’ll love this person for the rest of your life without regret.

Somedays I think I’ll miss you for the rest of my life and I hope we’ll start over some years later when we’ll be better for each other. Other days I realise I deserve someone better, but what if you could be the best for me?

Aprendi que lar não é um lugar, e sim uma sensação. Posso deixar este apartamento muito bonito, colocar um monte de floreiras nas janelas, colocar um capacho com boas-vindas diante da porta, pendurar uma placa com os dizeres “Lar, doce lar” em cima da lareira e passar a vestir um avental e assar biscoitos, mas a verdade é que eu sei que não quero ficar aqui pra sempre.

I’ve decided I need to be more spontaneous - stop thinking about things so much and just do them, or else nothing that I want is ever gonna happen. Like today, there were so many things I wanted to do - that I should have done - but I waited too long and missed my chance. So tomorrow I’m gonna try much harder to just do the things that I want - not think about it, so hopefully it will be better.

I hope he realizes that you don’t need him to be happy, because you don’t. You need to show him that you can smile even when he’s not around. Show him that you don’t need him to survive. Show him that you’re better off without him; and show him that caring what other people think might just cost him everything.
