7. late entries will be accepted indefinitely! please feel free to use the prompts whenever you can however you can and i will boost your work so long as you tag me. :)
8. you are free to take loose inspiration from the prompts or even not use the prompts at all if it suits you. if you drop a piece and label it for amamota week (and it follows my guidelines) i will boost it. heh.

10. this ship event is focusing on the ROMANTIC relationship between kaito and rantaro, and as such content featuring them in a friendship will not be promoted. however queerplatonic amamota content will be boosted.

Just a teeensy bit late, happy @amamotaweek everybody! I had a plane flight this week, so I didn't really have the time to sit down and put my idea I had for day seven into writing for now. It's for the prompts First Kiss / Free Space, and naturally I used the first one. I love prompts, what can I say.
This fic is a direct sequel to Three Embraces (Three Weaknesses), my day five Amamota Week fic, which takes place ingame and is a canon divergence piece. This one in particular is postgame but for those events, in a virtual reality AU. Kaito and Rantaro have gotten a bit closer here, and in this fic mainly they're talking about how they feel about each other and working some stuff out. It's classic emotional hurt/comfort fodder, and of course there's a kiss too. I hope you like it!
With that, that's it for Amamota Week this year. I had a good time. Glad I managed to finish the event, even if it did end up being a bit over a week late. Looking forward to next year!

Hey again everybody, happy @amamotaweek ! I've come with more fic, this time for Day 5's prompts, which are Greeting / Farewell / Embrace. Not gonna sugarcoat it: This one is definitely heavier. If you're not into canon-typical angst or death, I'd steer clear of this one.
This fic in particular explores an AU where Rantaro gets resurrected by the Necronomicon in Chapter 3. It's not an intricate canon divergence piece or anything, just going over a few key events - but those events are definitely packed full of emotion. I'm really proud of this piece, actually, heh. I enjoyed writing it a lot, and I think it's polished just about perfect. I really think first person POV works well for this one. Hope everyone enjoys it!

Hello there, @amamotaweek enjoyers, and welcome back to another round of fic posting! Today's fic is a (slightly belated) entry for Day 4's prompts, which are Meet Cute / Blind Date / Curiosity. I ended up using Meet Cute and Curiosity - sorry Blind Date, you're not my guy today.
Anyhow, this fic in particular is in an AU that has Kaito as a mermaid and Rantaro as an angel, but recently fallen. Recently enough that he would probably still be smoking if he hadn't dropped into the middle of the ocean, actually. The fic kick starts with Kaito dropping him on an island and saving him out of interest, and things just sort of... end up happening from there, a bit faster perhaps than either of them had predicted. Hope you enjoy it!

Hey gang! A little late with this, but happy @amamotaweek again! This one is for Day 3's prompts, which are Travel / Long-distance / Yearning, and I like to think I managed to include all three of them in this one.
Fair warning - this one is actually an amaoumota week fic, my only currently planned one of the series. So if you don't like ouma, maybe pass on this one. If you do like Ouma, surprise! There's an extra little man in your Happy Meal.
Anyhow, the fic. It's set in a HPA AU, and Kaito has just received a text early in the morning from Rantaro, telling him that Rantaro has broken his arm and will be coming back early. Naturally, Kaito has a very normal and emotionally balanced response to this, and is calm and collected about it, to be certain. Ouma... 'helps' with that. In his own way.
Quite proud of how this one turned out, so I'd be happy if you gave it a look to see how you liked it! Otherwise, I'll be here posting more fic soon.. I have two more already finished, so god willing I'll be posting some soon. Until then!

Hey gang, happy @amamotaweek ! Today's fic is for Day 2's prompts, which are Dawn / Acknowledgement / Friendship! I used all three in this one, and I'm pretty happy with the result.
This fic in particular is for a superpower school AU, where Kaito and Rantaro have contrasting fire and ice powers. They both know how to handle each other pretty well by now, but do they know how to handle... their feelings? I'll be here all week, folks.
Really, though, it's a fun little confession piece which I quite enjoy. These two have a great dynamic here and I'm pretty happy with this one. Hope you like it!

Hey everybody, happy amamota week! I'm participating in @amamotaweek 's yearly event, and it's about that time once more. I've got the first three days worth of fics ready for posting (this one being just slightly late) and I'll be dropping those for sure. I'm gonna try and get the other ones done too, but we'll see how it goes.
Anyway, onto the topic of this fic in particular, it's for Day 1 which has the prompts of Royalty AU / Loyalty / Determination, and I used all three to a greater or lesser extent. This in particular is a modern royalty AU with Rantaro as prince and Kaito as his bodyguard, and the two of them have been through thick and thin together. In this piece in particular, Rantaro is recovering from a slight stabbing incident, as you do, and Kaito is coping with it extremely well, as you do,
I'm excited to do more for this week! This pairing is one of my favorites and I'm glad to see and commit to more content for it. I hope you all enjoy it!
