Six skips
Oh hi~ You got The Arena by Jason Richardson. Now, this is a purely instrumental piece, so this was a fun way to get back into doing the reading stuff.
This piece starts off simple and relatively calm, before building into something more intense and dramatic. It has its moments of calm throughout, which build back up into the real meat of it all. This most speaks to me on the rollercoaster of emotion you can go on at times. Calm, ready to handle everything, but pressure builds up and your threshold for it gets smaller. What I especially get is that you need to stay on top of an outlet, create a release for all that pressure so you can hit more of those calm, mellow, hopeful phases and be less in the more chaotic phases.
(Shufflemancy is still open~)
