And I also think the way episode 3 ends is also very important to how Maddie and Cassie present themselves to the outside world, and how they are viewed. Maddie ends the episode in her sort of sketchy neighborhood, and a bit of a run down house. But she looks elegant, and people wouldn’t suspect her home situation to be the way it is because of how she presents herself to people. Maddie has always exuded confidence, and even though Cassie has the nice house and million dollar wedding (even if Nate is in crippling debt), Cassie is STILL the insecure one.
