Bellflower - Evan Glodell
Ok, right. It is exactly 11:08 and I just watched the apocapytic and purely weirdo Bellflower. Hm, I don't know where to start from. At first we think to get into the world of two really cool guys that are Aiden and Woodrow, half-lost half-mad men, with strange dreams and obsessions and a curious fascination for crazy movies but... then we get into something really really more than it, more than everything we could imagine.
It's not actually a movie, it's like some chaos, some desperate and fascinating chaos, we are in that mess and before we can wonder "Wow, what do I do here?", we are totally involved in all of it. Damned, I don't know if it's only me but I immersed myself body and soul in this story, and right now I still can't get my spirits back.
I think that it means that Evan Glodell really pull it off, he catches us with an incredible strenght in this apocalyptico-psycho-fascinating movie. I'm totally devoted to Woodrow, I definitely hate Millie and I'm crazy about Aiden. God, it will take time before I get over all of it.
Of course the characters are for a lot in these feelings, it's really wonderful to see how much Aiden stays faith to his friend, how much he helps him and supports him whatever he can do, whatever happens. Woodrow is obviously so much touching that we just want to hold him and to protect him from everyone and everything. And Millie is just the nasty one, honestly HOW COULD SHE DO THAT ?!
Great, great movie. I think it tumbled out everything I could think about life and everything, it tumbled out everything in my head right now and it means only one thing: it's such a chef-d'oeuvre.
