Drawing the battle scene from the last Avengers move just for fun in between commissions. It started as a composition exercise (the sequence is stunning and thought it would be nice to try framing the whole thing in one pose) but then I had some time free. From sketch to final in a day.

I collaborated with German children´s Magazine GEOmini to portrait some famous pirates/anti-heroes. Here are the printed mags with Robin Hood and Klaus Störtebeker. I sketched in Procreate with the iPadPro, inked by hand with a brush and cleaned up using a mix Manga Studio and Photoshop.

Time for some fan art of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Turning a sketchbook doodle into a quick full color illo using Procreate and the iPadPro. A few hours in 45 seconds :-)

Some years ago, when I was still an art student living in New York, I did a piece about information bias in media which became sort of an appreciated image in my portfolio. During these last weeks we have seen an unprecedented animosity and disrespect against the press and journalism at an institutional level -all over the world but more dramatically in the US-, so I felt it was about time for an updated illo with a more current and fair view . There might be not such thing as objective information, but amidst the chaos of fake news, social media and dubious leaks, we need independent journalism and accurate information more than ever. Governments who mock or deny that basic right are certainly on the wrong path. Original piece below!

A couple of pictures of my event at the Apple Store in New York some weeks ago! Really fun to make a punk character from scratch and have the chance to talk about my work in front of many illustrators and friends. 

My first entry ever for the monthly Character Design Challenge. It was centaur-themed so here she goes doing a kick-kick-flip-flip! Again, I drew her with the iPad pro and Procreate app, which work nice and seamless together...
