I have no belief

I have no rage

 - I don’t have to hold anyone’s hand and teach them how to treat me

 - One explanation of my boundaries and standards is enough

- Gut feelings are guardian angels

- Standing up for myself isn’t selfish

- I deserve to be treated with care and respect and I don’t have to convince, beg or plead anyone for it

- I don’t have to give anyone multiple chances/infinite access to me if they haven’t proved they deserve it

- Every loss or end is a chance to break apart and build again

- Nothing that’s for me will ever miss me

- I deserve the love, kindness, grace and empathy I give others

- I will not be ashamed for being good to the wrong people

- Trusting others and being vulnerable is not a weakness

- Believing people can do better and change is not naive

 - I don’t have to stick around and be collateral damage in the midst of someone else’s growth or refusal to grow

 - Every relationship that didn’t work out is inching me closer to the one that’s for me

- It’s their loss and I’m not responsible for their feelings around realizing that

- How people treat you is how they feel about themselves

- Some people will sabotage good things in their life because it’s comfortable for them

- You can wish someone well and forgive them from afar

- Having boundaries is not synonymous with being harsh, mean or closed off

- People will continue to do what you allow in your space if they’ve shown you a pattern of behaviour

- You don’t have to wait until the next time, and the next, and the next, and the next

- When you are properly loved and respected, nothing feels unsure, uneasy or unbearable

- Anyone in your life should add value not take away from it

- You cannot work through anyone’s hurt for them

- I can lock the door and change the keys as I please

- Better things are waiting for me I just can’t see it yet
