while we are anti-endo and will stand our ground on that for literally the rest of our life, we do not condone fakeclaiming or harassment. we don't condone threats, we don't condone violence, and we especially don't condone wishing bad things upon someone. while we don't believe that endos are systems in the way the term is defined, that doesn't mean we think (most of) their experiences aren't real. sure, some endos online probably are just acting for clout. that happens with every disorder in the book. but it's far more likely that a lot of them just don't know what's going on and jumped to the first label they saw and are sticking with it to avoid being wrong. it's also far more likely that there's a completely different disorder in the mix that either makes them think their symptoms are related to DID or straight up fabricates whatever symptoms they believe they have. no one will know unless they make the choice to go to therapy if they can.

no, endos are not and never will be accepted on our page because our space isn't made for them. our space is made for people who are suffering from this disorder because of severe trauma. we have every right to decide who we do and don't want interacting with our blog and, therefore, interacting with us. we can't interact with people who act like they understand our struggles when they really don't. it's uncomfortable and frustrating for us, which is why we avoid the endo community entirely.

bottom line is: just avoid the community. purposefully going after people is just dumb, in my opinion. all you're doing is bring them into your own spaces, fueling their fire, and giving them more reasons to harp on traumatized people for being "toxic".

first of all, it comes from the transphobic term of transmed, so using the term is transphobic.

it also implies that having a CDD is similar to being transgender. i have to disagree on that, because being transgender is an identity, and being a system is a disorder.

because having a CDD is a disorder, it’s not something that can be medicalized. its a medical term already. i’m not doing any harm by calling a medical disorder medical. this is part of why the term “sysmed” makes no sense to me.

i also have seen some anti-endos trying to reclaim this term for themselves, and while i understand the motivation behind that, i dont really appreciate it as someone who collectively identifies as transgender. it makes me feel like the origins of the term are being erased.

some anti endos using this term have also been people who think that getting a diagnosis for a CDD is the only way you can be “valid.” i am pro informed self-diagnosis, and my therapist has even said that a CDD can both be a “fairly easy disorder to recognize in yourself, or completely impossible to see.” CDDs cover such a broad range of experience and i think its important to respect that.

also, (slightly off topic) this is tumblr. a social media site. if someone is confused about whether they have a CDD, i dont mind if it turns out they’re wrong! posting as different alters and talking about their experiences, and then realizing those experiences dont line up with a CDD at all? i personally don’t see how that could be harmful, as long as they dont deliberately spread misinformation.

Genuinely, since I'm now confused, why is transmed transphobic? Never used it, but I'm curious. I thought it was meant to describe the trans people that were being asses and othering the trans people who couldn't/didn't fully want to go through surgery, and saying you could only be trans if you went through surgery, there for "trans medicalized"
