THE DAY OF STORY AND SONG

I wanna shout this first: this is a big ol’ collab with @the-nothing-maker!!!  Their art is gorgeous and it was such a privilege to work with them!  We planned it together in Google Docs (which was great fun because we had a lot of similar thoughts about what would have the most emotional impact), then they did the lineart and I colored it!  We started before the finale episodes came out but it still contains MASSIVE SPOILERS so beware of that!

Magnus and Julia could feel winter chill faintly on the evening autumn breeze. 

They’d spent the evening in the woods below Raven’s Roost, an impromptu hiking venture suggested (well, more like demanded) by Julia, who had complained for hours about feeling cooped up and bored.

Of couse, Magnus didn’t mind. He never minded. Julia was strong willed and also very, very hard to say no to. Especially considering the sunlight smile that graced her features as she stood perched on an outcropping of rocks over a river, arrow notched in her bow, skimming shots over the water in attempt to snatch them some dinner.

“We’re gonna starve…” Magnus halfway teased from behind her, which garnered him nothing but a scoff at first.
