Got myself a new toy a couple of days ago. A handheld game emulator... And I now know why people got so addicted to pokemon 😅
I've already put maybe 17 hours into pokemon red, and I'm having trouble putting it down.
It annoys me a bit though that my two main/best pokemon are a Raticate and a Geodude when my starter was Charizard.

Not too surprising as today (or rather night) has rivaled an industrial Dyson in how much it sucked.
It's been unseasonably cold tonight and my knees hurt too bad to get up and close my ventilation window... Which in turn meant I was too cold to fall asleep.

so what's been going on? I've been ill and then I decided to be depressed for a while (and for those not fluent in sarcasm or unfamiliar with Spider Jerusalem, I had very little say in the matter).
I've got a new computer and am struggling to get all my work stuff on it because the power brick for my hard drive bricked it.
so, yeah. update finished.
Turns out Dall-e or whichever one it was (I was tired and bored), is slightly dyslexic.
I tried for some reason to have it make me a badger in a race car...
It kind of misread my prompt (double checked my spelling so it wasn't me), and it gave me this.
Apparently the badger IS the race car 🤣

Sorry. I've been distracted. When I haven't been in mindsearing pain I've been hyper and/or working.
I have also been carrying around a sketchpad everywhere because I've gotten back into 3dprinting and now my brain keeps throwing ideas at me constantly.
And I do mean constantly. I've had instances when I wake up from a nap, desperately needing to pee... and I grab the sketch pad on my way because twice already I've designed stuff while on the bog. 😅
Yesterday I made buttons.
A BUNCH of buttons. Because I'm tired of never finding enough buttons that match when I need them.
It hasn't really sunk in yet that I am back here again, so my post will likely be more sporadic and therefor also random and disconnected than they would perhaps have been if I stayed all along.
In preparation though I need to warn you: I am prone to ranting, getting sidetracked, adding subtext and sidenotes.
Basically my posts will be your mums side of the conversation when you call to ask for something.

I have a project going that will with all likelyhood both work and require no soldering whatsoever.
12v fume extractor with speed control. Now this would work with soldering but I primarily need it for super glue as I am apparently quite allergic to it, I loose partial sense of smell and taste every time I use it so... Yeah.

As anyone who knows me (and others will find out) my posts are extremely random and completely disjointed from each other...
Anyways, one of the best things I've done for my photography was replace the heads on all my tripods with Arca Swiss mounts. Thus I can easily replace a missing plate for like $12 on amazon and never have to change the plate on any of my cameras between tripods. This saves me easily 3-5 minutes per switch...
And you'd be surprised at how often switching happens.
So that's my photography tip for today, get an arca swiss head (there are cheap ones) and some backup plates.

Depending on phone there are different ways. If you use SwiftKey keyboard you can tap and hold the suggestions to erase them. Otherwise there's supposed to be a settings page under accessibility (I think) where you can input your own replacements.
Well I think I can write off most of today as fairly useless. Fell asleep at 7 AM only to wake up at 10... and go back to sleep an hour or so later. Woke up again an hour ago and my brain is thoroughly mushed.
On the plus side I found the "don't fry my brain with that pure white background"-button on the app.
Oh, I'm posting this because anyone of my twits coming over here from the twitching corpse of the tiny blue bird is probably going to need it.
