Desperate for even the pet treats, she sticks her snout in the food bowl, even though she knows they will not get past the gag and snout mask. She just wants texture, the feeling of biting and chewing, anything which is not swallowing the wet and horrid grains in the stinking slurry, but even that is denied her.

Even the dry and tasteless pet treats are a luxury, and she can only stare at them, without being able to eat them, hoping her master gives her something other than the vomit-like gruel she cannot get used to.
