During some down time at work I wrote a little Photoshop script in order to make exporting files a lot simpler. This dialog box and checking system will save me about 5 minutes per image exported, which quickly adds up when Ive got 100ā²s of Images to go through. Iāll host the script on GitHub soon, so anyone interested can grab it up.
Random quick splash screen for TeenZombie software.

Testing Nublas and Chill Stars
Inspired by David Bowieās music & life, I started working on a procedural universe generator. Hereās some of the first suns I ran into while flying around. You can also see a few tiny lil planets
Hereās some code for taking a screenshot in Unity3D, naming it the current time, and then saving it as a png. Iāve forgotten this line before so I am posting it here to help remember, and to share with anyone.
Application.CaptureScreenshot(System.DateTime.Now + ā.pngā);
I had two days off from work, so I remade slime soccer in Unity3D. I call mine Prime Soccer. You can check it out in html5 HereĀ (probably not on mobileā¦but maybe?) downloads for pc and mac here!
Controls p1-move: wasd. p1-jump: q or space. p2-move: arrows. p2-jump: left shift or keypad 0.

Coming Soon:Ā
A new game called Hot Floor, and a new games-section of my website.
A tiny sneak peek of an unnamed RPG.
TEENZOMBIEās ExC
I started remaking my favorite drawing game ExquisiteCorpse into a simple digital version... for times when anything to write with Or draw on is hard to find.
The game is simple enough, players take turns drawing parts of a corpse, Only able to see a tiny piece of the drawing that came before. This project is 1/3 something I wanted to learn how to construct,Ā 1/3 something I wanted to play without download an app, andĀ 1/3 end of summer downtime being used constructively.Ā
An In-App-Purchase screen I finished recently, with the sketches and wireframes I did to show a little of my process.
I also wrote a real simple how-to for this project:
Step 1: Gather all the data youāre trying to visualize and organize it. This part is easy, I wrote down there are 5 main elements, 4 buttons, the number of diamonds and price for each button, and I also noted that the last one gets a ābest valueā addendum.
Step 2: Sketch it! Take your organized data youāve gathered into a hierarchy, and start to fool with it visually. Sketch ideas you have for each element. I attempt to try at least 3 different styles: my first idea, and idea that might work, and an Idea that you might not even like. This will help you to see the info without getting tunnel vision towards the art style. (for this project, i also sketched some diamonds, and diamond piles, a loot bag, and a treasure chest)
Step3: Refine a sketch into a very basic wireframe Once I decided that the sketch above was the direction I wanted to move in, I broke it down into a wireframe so I could make sure the hierarchy looks good. If the backbone of the idea isnāt good enough as a wireframe, It definitely wont be good as a full graphic. You can read about design hierarchy here.ā
Step4: Adding elements back into the design. From the wireframe, I start to lay out some color, text, and Minimal details. During this time, I reference the beginning data to make sure I havenāt missed something important.
Step 5: Finalization and details. Phew! Finally! The last step! Continue adding details while referencing the original data. If you look at the step4 image, you can see how the colors and layout of the buttons changed a bit, space and color wise, in order to fit the diamonds and chest, WHILE keeping good space around the type. Photoshop layer styles are your friend.

Some friends and I have been developing a science fiction mini series. Hereās a screen shot of a test video shot.
Pure JS Color Picker
While working on a simple drawing app, I was doing a bit of struggling on how to allow users to change brush color, regardless of what platform they are on. My first idea was to use some jQuery and mimic a Photoshop-esque color picker, but that ended up being a heavier load than I expected. This code grabs anything set as a .colorSwatch class, puts them into an array that checks for clicks (or touches), and then passes the clicked swatches background color to aĀ āpicked colorā div.Ā View or Grab the code from my JSFIDDLE
