Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, and are loved by the Most Merciful One: Subḥānallāhi wa biḥamdih, Subḥānallāhi ‘l-`Aẓīm. Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, and are loved by the Most Merciful One: Glorified is Allah and praised is He, Glorified is Allah the Most Great.

اللهم لا تتركني لنفسي طرفة عين 🤎

ربّ التفاتةٍ قد تعيدك إلى وجعٍ حسبتَه مضى، فامضِ ولا تلتفت.

اللهم اجعلنا صابرين عند البلاء، شاكرين عند الرخاء، ثابتين عند الفتن، مطمئنين بقربك في كل حال، ولا تجعلنا من القانطين من رحمتك، واملأ قلوبنا يقينًا بك وحسنَ ظنٍّ في تدبيرك.

Allahumma inni a‘ūdhu bika min jahdi al-bala’, wa-daraki al-shaqā’, wa-sū’i al-qaḍā’, wa-shamātati al-a‘dā’. O Allah! I seek refuge with You from severe calamity, a bad end, a bad fate, and gloating of enemies.

‏"أحيانًا نحتاج إلى هُدنةٍ مع الحياة، لا هزيمة فيها، ولا انسحاب..فقط استراحةُ مُحارب.نَركِن إلى الهدوء، نُغلق الأبواب خلف ضجيج التوقّعات، ونَجلِس مع أنفسنا بصمتٍ مُحِبّ. ليس علينا أن نُحارب كلّ شيء دائماً، فبعضُ المعارك تُنهِكنا أكثر مِما تُثمِر."
