When Techno had offered help and assistance out to a familiar face - an individual that xe helps study - they weren't entirely sure what material they were going over. It happened in a frantic rush, remembering Redd approaching over whilst in a conversation with Quackity. It seemed they was having problems and needed to catch up with work that dangled far behind, unable to have a days rest, requesting Achilles for assistance. Quackity glanced between the duo before Techno gave a confirmation of helping the other out, it was the decent thing to do plus Redd is a quick learner. People seemed to view Achilles as a strong mentor figure or as the scary monster that went around in useless circles.

Rumors are pointless nowadays and yet the blog was something that loved chatting up shit. It was bizarre given the circumstances but as of recent? Techno hadn't heard anything being spoken about so that was a good sign.

Waiting in the library, they had arranged a day over some simple text messages and Achilles waited.

Waited.

Waited.

And Waited.

It was roughly 30 minutes after the time the duo were meant to meet up. It was actually a little concerning. Xe sent a text message over but no reply as of wait. Achilles is a pretty patient person and time ticked. They weren't expecting Redd to show up at this rate and was proven wrong when a familiar figure slumped downwards in the chair opposite them. Looking worn out and exhausted, Techno raised an eyebrow. Whilst xe couldn't speculate properly what had happened, Redd looked way too tired, out of breath and overall purely exhausted. The individual had gone into the shoulder bag to pull out a protein bar, sliding it over to them as well as a bottle of water. Quackity gave xem extras and figured xe could use the food and drink. Even if it was little, it'd be something. He was slowly collecting his breath and Techno waited, sending idle texts to Quackity considering she was curious about the scenario that displayed. Techno told her. Hands tapped against the phone until pocketing it and speaking up finally. "How you feeling?"

In all honestly, they have absolutely no idea how five minutes turned into half an hour.

Evie's squawking still rings around the emptiness of their mind. They aren't quite sure what they did wrong; their routine was followed down to the T, as always. Something seemed to irritate her more than usual and, unfortunately, they aren't fluent in nonsensical gibberish and couldn't exactly ask her what the matter was. The sleeve of their shirt, around the shoulder area, is still somewhat damp with crocodile tears. They couldn't soothe salt with a gentle tone and mellow circles rubbed into her back, so she made sure to snivel and smear spittle all over their clothing. Maybe they deserve it, even if her distress nearly brought them to the verge of tears themself. That is the most pathetic part.
