EMO... Music Color Transition Video. (Final) We tried to show change in emotions in a person’s life by choosing the right color for the emotion and the elements of composition in the space around us. Happy. – Yellow angry – Red Jealous- Green Depression- Dark gray and black Sad- Grey Ray of hope- A beam of light Calm- White

This was our FIRST DRAFT  for the transition video in which we - 1. Made the compositions with stop motion for the background. 2. We were using are fingers in this video to inact in front of the composition, to get the emotion we wanted. Later on, We learnt that we were not using our whole body as element and compositions need to be made in space with us as the elements of the compositions. so, Redoing this idea was not a problem, it really got fun and as we approached the deadline and we enjoyed it a lot. This was our first NID night working, did not feel that we were away from each other, as we connected so well online. I will never forget the experience we had as batchmates and I am thankful to these projects. “Find the final video in next post.” We kept the story same, now instead of using finger we were acting as the element in the composition by transforming are around space with the colors and elements required to get the emotion we wanted to depict.

Random experimentations.

Above composition represents the word ‘Friendship and Fear’. Friendship- Like one from the family of squares and one from the family of triangles are meeting. Cool color meeting the warm color. Fear- All triangles are juxtaposed around the circle leaving the circle in fear. 

Exploring the design principles in form of accordion book. this exploration was real fun while doing it. Tried out so many visual compositions using just a line and a dot.  By doing this exercise I realized that there are infinite number of ways in which a composition can be done, that too only by using a line and dot.

2. Rasmalai - Trying to capture the sweetness of the Rasmalai with badam and pista flavor in it. Rasmalai is like traditional sweet with classic hint of modern sweet just like the music.

Visualizing the sound and taste of food. 1. Pani Puri - Trying to paint the the spicy flavor of pani and the crisp of puri.

Color Video Ideation part. 1. Studying emotions of every color. 2. Selecting some emotions for the color video. 3. Trying to depict each emotion of color by abstract. 4. Finalizing the abstract forms and searching for the appropriate sounds to enhance the emotion of color. 5. Finally making a story board with all transitions from one emotion to other emotion of color. 6. Finalizing the story and finally animating the process. 

Finding principles of Gestalt all around us by taking photographs.
