Most days Kellan found himself never offering too much care for the wonders of the world and beyond. However, this was one of the moments where he became so enraptured with his own thoughts that he couldn’t even contain his wandering mind. Perched atop a park table with an untouched book his hand, his nightly eyes stared ahead as he emerged longing for answers and not even fully registering the person next to him. “Do you believe in God?” He asked, in the middle of children and their parent’s uproars a few feet away from where he was. “Call this a damn dumb s’hell question but y’think he remains in Heaven because he fears of what he’s created?” 

Chris had brought Kimber to the park to let her play for a while, so he sat with Kailyn under the park’s section of covered tables to protect her from the son. He watched as his sister ran around, playing with some of the other kids, a little smile on his lips. When he heard the question, though, the blonde turned to look at the person who sat next to him. “I’ve always struggled with my faith, honestly,” He paused, head tilted to the side a bit. “But, yeah, I think if he’s real, he keeps his distance because what he created has become fucked up. I think that there’ll ever be a second coming because he’s ashamed.”

CJ sighed, looking down at the pavement behind his feet as he sat on a park bench. He was frustrated with himself, having blown off his friends due to his anxiety. He was feeling a little frazzled after a dream he’d had the night before. While sitting there, someone passing by dropped something. He snatched it up and followed the person. “Excuse me,” he called out. “You dropped this.”

Chris had felt his phone slip out of his pocket, and when he turned around his face was one of horror - he was afraid that he’d cracked the screen. “Shit, is it broken?” He raised his brows, not even looking at the phone yet - if the screen was shattered, he didn’t want to see it. “God, please don’t tell me it cracked.”

Robin sat at a bar, a water and drawing pad in front of her. It was midday, her class let out early and she went back to Queens to do a project on location. She spoke to the nearest person, “I’m supposed to be practicing for my figure drawing class. I’m terrible, can’t make symmetrical faces. Do you mind if I draw you? You can move, I’ll just be staring a lot.”

Chris knew it was a bit too early to be drinking, but as he sat at the bar picking at a plate of fries, the blonde sipped on a margarita. He wasn’t in the mood to eat, but knew that he needed something, so a drink seemed to be the best option. Upon being spoken to, Chris turned to look at the woman, a little smile on his lips. “Oh, no - go ahead, if you want to,” He shrugged, taking a sip from his drink. “I don’t mind, I’ll be here for a while.”

“My biggest accomplishment to date is getting my GED. That was hella hard ‘cause I got it when I was, like, twenty something and I’d been outta school for a long time.”

“Daddy. I think that’s an obvious one.”

“I don’t really know, that’s a question that I really have to think about. Like, seriously. What would my one major fuck up be? I don’t know, I really don’t. That's a hard one.”

“A bit of both, I guess.”

“Summer because I like to tan and dress like a ho.”

“Get up, brush my teeth, pee, make breakfast, get the girls up, feed Kailyn, eat, take Kimber to school. On the weekends we watch cartoons in the mornings.”

“Not really, ‘cause I don’t get embarrassed very easily.”

“Not very well. I feel that if you betray me, then you don’t really care about me.”

“Cheated on. If I’m gonna die it’s gonna be on my own terms, not from someone else killing me, frankly.”

“I believe someone has accidentally sent me a package of 50 Shade ‘limited collection’, complete with its bonus toys and everything. I have no fucking idea know what to do with them. Should I burn the books but keep the toys around or should I just toss them all away?” Grant muttered outloud as he sipped his cup of coffee. “Keeping those atrocious books is not an option.” 

“Burn the books, keep the toys,” Chris said with a grin, taking a sip form his own coffee before continuing. “Fuck the books, man, they’re the worst fuckin’ things in the world. But the toys? Worth keeping. Who gets lucky enough to get free sex toys?”
