The newest signee to cult label PC Music is Estonian rapper and viral sensation TOMMY CASH. His rap style is unheard of, bringing a post Soviet perspective on luxe western rap stereotypes over oddball trap beats. His absurd music videos, that he conceptualises and directs himself, have caused the internet to raise many an eyebrow. Standout images include playing butt cheeks like a bongo, amputee backup dancers with blades for legs and rocket ship deep throating. Now we can add puppy dog hair and a creepy family of denim clad Tommy’s to that list with his new video for ‘Little Molly’.

Viceland animates comedians’ raucous nights out in new show Party Legends

Viceland has released a trailer for its new animated talking heads show Party Legends featuring a cast of some of the most popular comedians and famous faces spilling their funniest and most embarrassing party stories. The cast includes Margaret Cho, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bridgett Everett, TJ Miller, Arrested Development’s Alia Shawcat, and Portlandia’s Fred Armisen.

Punks, UFOs, and Heroin

“What connection can there possibly be between UFOs and heroin?” asks a character in Slava Tsukerman’s cult classic from 1982, Liquid Sky. It’s not really a question I pondered myself during my own years of addiction, but apparently enough people find it intriguing to attend screening after screening, in many countries, wearing makeup and outfits in homage to the specific style of the film, for the last 31 years. Before attending Friday’s screening at the BAM, I had a long talk with the director at his Manhattan apartment, where part of the movie was filmed back in those dark and distant 80’s.
