how did you not see the tebow being tebowed? its been a headline for a while. not saying this in a mean way, just curious. do you check yahoo or anything haha.
I mean...it's Wednesday, I saw the pictures on Tuesday, and the game was Sunday, so "awhile" might be a little excessive, haha. But no, i don't check yahoo, nor am i a follower of the broncos or lions. the only time i go directly to a specific site or blog is to read AFC North news, since that's my team's division.generally what i do is google news search the two teams that played each other to grab headlines from the previous week. I hadn't gotten to that game yet because I've been busy with work, moving, planning a wedding, and figuring out why every joint in my body has ached for 9 days straight haha.
Being proactive is never a bad thing.

Ndamukong Suh (Lions DT) is meeting with NFL officials on Tuesday to gain understanding of the rules that he keeps getting penalized for.Â

Kevin Kolb is wearing a protective boot on his right foot after suffering a turf toe injury during Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Ravens, and the Cardinals quarterback pronounced himself "day to day" for next week's game against the visiting St. Louis Rams.
If the injury doesn't improve or Kolb finds the injury too painful to practice this week, the Cardinals could turn to John Skelton, who is listed No. 2 on the depth chart. Rich Bartel is the No. 3 quarterback. _________________________________________________ this is bad news for Arizona. Turf Toe is a total bitch and has seriously prohibited productive seasons.
Again i'll say it..
suedejohnson:
Joe Flacco is garbage. Dude is a joke, just saying.
Yeah, just "joking" his way into the playoffs every year since his rookie year (and John Harbaugh's first year as a Head Coach) (and the Cam Cameron's first year in Baltimore). Just "joking" his way into holding a record for most playoff appearances by a third year QB. God, what garbage Joe Flacco is.

Players who have under preformed after week 8
blahblahblahfootball:
Chris Johnson/RB/Tennessee-CJ2K signed a HUGE contract during the offseason. He held out of training camp, showed up weeks one-three out of shape. You think by week eight he would right the ship? No. he has gotten worse. He has 107 carries for 302 yards, 2.9 ypc and 1 td. His back up, Javon Ringer, has out preformed the fastest man in the NFL. This is just truly pathetic.Â
Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Mark Sanchez, Josh Freeman/QB/ BAL,ATL,NYJ,TB- These four have been lockout casualties. Each took a big step each season and have taken a BIG step back this season. These four have put up some good games this year, but failed to play at a consistent level. I still do expect these four to become annual Pro Bowlers, just not this year.
The entire Indianapolis Franchise - Yes, Peyton Manning is out, yes, he does make you all better, but this is just sad. Now, I’m from Baltimore, so Indy falling flat on their face is great for me. This is a prime example of why you don’t build your ENTIRE TEAM AROUND ONE PLAYER! This team is nothing without 18 under center. Reggie Wayne is o top 10 receiver but has been playing like a back up, Jeff Saturday is the only person who has played well on the offensive line, and don’t get me started on defense. They can’t even stop a nose bleed. The blame really goes on the front office and coaching.Â
The Referees- If you want inconsistent, look no further. Officiating has been TERRIBLE this year. I am all for player safety, but when you are pressuring the QB, you need to hit him as hard as possible. I’ll use an example, when Clay Matthews hit Christian Ponder square in the hips, he was flagged for roughing and fined by the NFL, But when Joe Flacco was hit in the head this Sunday by Darnell Docket, a flag was nowhere to be seen. Its just god awful, inconsistent, and drives fans crazy. You can’t even touch Brady or Rodgers without getting flagged. Refs, you need to step up your game.
100% agree with everything in this post.
Raiders Workout The Housh
profootballgolden:
WR TJ Houshmandzadah worked out today for the Raiders, who are on the hunt for targets for newly-acquired QB Carson Palmer.
Peculiarly, Terrell Owens was not invited to workout with Oakland. TO has been out of football since last year, and is eclipsing retirement in the near future. He is considered better than Houshmandzadah by many scouts and analysts.
Palmer had a rough debut for his new team a week ago. The Raiders had a much-needed bye week to heal and to let Palmer sink in and learn the timing of his receivers.
Houshmandzadah played solidly last year for the Ravens, but has been a free agent since then. The veteran would benefit Palmer because he is a reliable target that the QB can throw to in tough situations.
With RB Darren McFadden, who is the main go-to guy for the Raiders, is wounded. It is picture-perfect timing for Palmer.
The Housh, if signed, would be a fantastic, consistent target for Palmer.
I hope someone picks Housh up, I really enjoyed him with Baltimore and I think it's a shame we didn't keep him around another year or two.
