My feelings, thoughts, and words♥

I miss the times when our conversations weren’t as short. I miss the dates we had and memories that made me want to live it forever. I miss when you chased after me and did everything to make me feel special. I miss the old person you were. I miss what we had and I just wish that I could bring it all back again.

Opening up means facing your fears. But who can I trust? Who can I run to knowing they won't judge or leave me after? Who can I cry to knowing they won't call me weak? It seems that in the world we live in today, the only person you can really open up to and trust is yourself.

You could smile and everyone around you would think that you are truly happy. Just because a person smiles, doesn’t necessarily mean that they are feeling true happiness. It takes 1 smile to hide the pain and a thousand tears because smiles are like masks, they can hide how someone is truly feeling.

you have to stop waiting for someone to come along and fix what's wrong yourself. Maybe sometimes, you need to stop dwelling on the past and look toward what lies in the future. Maybe sometimes, you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and realize no one has the right answer to everything. Maybe sometimes, you have to save your own self from the pain and be your own hero.

It's a new year again and all I can think about is what I'm going to do and how I'll start doing it. But I realize that no matter what will happen later on this year, I've only got one life to live and one life to love. I'm going to stop thinking about the past and be more hopeful with what lies toward the future. It's time to stop worrying and start living because whatever happens, happens.
