So I got bored and made a chart of how many players in the PWHL wear each number (as of Feb 23rd, 2025). The lowest player number is 1 (Toronto's Kirk) and the highest is 96 (Montreal's Laskova).

Every number between 1 and 44 is worn by at least one player! Both 8 and 9 are worn by a player on each team, making them the most popular numbers.

Here's the number of players on each team who wear a unique jersey number:

Boston has 3 (Frankel 31, Gabel 36, and Rattray 47)

Minnesota has 3 (Morgan 32, Křížová 41, and Cava 86)

Montreal has 3 (O'Neill 43, Nadeau 51, and Lásková 96)

New York has 3 (Levy 39, Vespa 81, and Osbourne 82)

Ottawa has 4 (Philips 33, Maschmeyer 38, Serdachny 92, and Meixner 94)
