Because of your kindness, my father was able to have the urgent leg surgery he needed after his painful fall. We used every dollar of the $700 we raised to pay part of the cost, but we still face a heavy burden. With the remaining $300 plus a 40% withdrawal fee, we now need a total of $700 to cover everything.

Last year, an IOF attack killed Mohammed’s older brother, and all but destroyed Mohammed’s leg. Since then, Mohammed has been unable to attend his physical therapy due to lack of funds. The condition of his leg has deteriorated as a result.

He is raising funds for his ongoing care in Gaza and for food for his family. He has no income, nor does anyone in his family, which includes multiple disabled members who require expensive long term care. He is weak from starvation and only has one functional leg.

It is with a broken heart that we have to share the worst news imaginable with the NGU community. This weekend, the IOF bombed the neighborhood of Yahya Al-Habil and his family. Little Omar, Yahya’s 7-year-old brother who we have mentioned often, was martyred.

Both Yahya and his brother Mohammed are being treated in different departments for the severe injuries they sustained from this attack, and did not get the chance to say goodbye to Omar. They now urgently need $5,000 usd to continue treatment and hopefully stabilize their critical conditions.
