All Gone Grey

Hey guys, it's Lacey! 

Yes, it's true, I am leaving All Gone Grey. Being in this group, with my friends, was a really cool experience. At one point in life, I thought that this was what I really wanted. However, some things have changed in my life. For me, I had a time limit on how long I could actually spend trying to be in a touring band. Unfortunately, my time has come and I have to take responsibility and recognize that. I have other aspirations to focus on so I will not have time to dedicate to the band. I also don't want to hold them back in anyway, because they have such amazing potential. You could say I'm bi-ased, but it's just what I've always believed. I wouldn't have spent three years of my life with a group unless I truly believed in them. 

There are so many things I didn't understand about being in a local band (that wants to go somewhere with their music). I, however, am so very proud of how far we have come. It may not seem like much to others, but All Gone Grey will always be such an amazing memory for me to hold onto. Good times with friends, meeting some really cool people, and getting to play music. 

And no, there is absolutely no bad blood between me and any other band member. These guys are my friends first, band members second, and that's how I've always viewed it. I am grateful for the opportunity they gave me and I hope nothing but the best for them. In reality, I'm just switching my role in the All Gone Grey family. Rather than being a 'band member', I will switch to being a 'devoted fan'. : ) 

Needless to say, me leaving isn't a super big deal. Everything will work out. So go out to shows and support them, because they're awesome and you won't regret it. 

And one quick thank you to all the people who always come out and support All Gone Grey. You're a big part of the memories I get to take with me. 

So, January 2nd (at Tir Na Nog in Daytona Beach) is my last show. It would be awesome if people came out and watched. I would love to see you all there. Thank you so much, to everyone.
