Norway is one of the most popular countries for immigrants. you can take a walk in for example Bergen, and literally half of the people you’ll see will be poc. 3. i have people in my life who aren’t white. i’ve had, and have, friends, both irl and online, who aren’t white. literally my first childhood friend was black! why do you think you know my life and exactly who i’ve interacted with??

It doesn’t matter how much you contribute to the community when you actively cause discourse and make yourself and your community look bad.

And yes, I can say I have helped my community. I’ve brought dinners to struggling families my entire life, I’ve visited the old and bedridden people who can’t go out anymore, I’ve taken kids and teenagers in my home when there were things going on that were too much for them and they needed a weekend away. Shoot I have given whatever money I can to organizations that I care about and have tried to raise awareness about the government that abuse the severely intellectual disabled because I’ve seen first hand how those scum handle these people, and it isn’t easy watching a 40 year old woman with the mind of a 6 year old with a broken arm saying “I fell” with a look of terror when it was obvious she was pushed by someone who was supposed to take care of her.

Can you honestly say you being a published writer is “contributing to the community”? That planning a conference is hard? Cause that stuff you said you do, that stuff is easy emotionally compared to the emotional crap I’ve seen.
