2 days ago we had an amazing talk for more than a hour with our Airbnb hosts, Kevin and Margaret. So yesterday we arrived at a dessert town/city called Palmdale. The drive up was amazing, it was so pretty! We’re so surprised about the landscaping in California, it’s so different then we thought it would be! Oh yeah, but we started our day off with some IHOP! Hmmmmmm!

What a strange day. We thought we’d see more of the sights and less of the car.. but things turned around and stuff happened.

Downtown LA and The Last Bookstore!

After a lazy morning, today would be THE day, to do some shopping. Downtown LA it was! I had my list of things with me and I was totally ready to go.

Today we started our day bright and early at 4:36am. It couldn’t be 4:35, Han wanted it to be 4:36. So we woke up, not so bright and showered. My sister picked us up and after our regular pre-holiday stress, we left the house at 5:50 to get our train at 6:11am.
