If you’ve seen a photo of me at a Sonic Boom show, visiting the shop Built By Sonic, saw me on the radio when I was hosting back in the days, or caught one of my DJ sets lately, you probably noticed one constant: I’m almost always wearing a hat.
For nearly 30 years in the music scene—from shop owner to artist manager to DJ—my headwear has been the "storyteller" of every decade. I’ve worn the funny ones, the serious ones, and the formal ones. To be honest, I feel like something is missing if I don't have a cap on.
Last year, while I was brainstorming my next move, it finally clicked. I’m passionate about music, and I’m also passionate about hats. Why not bring them together? I decided to start small, keep it DIY, and that’s how ALL CAPS Always LTD was born.
When it came to the first release, I knew it had to be the classic Sonic Boom logo. That history means everything to me. When I announced it last year, the support was overwhelming. If you’re reading this and you’re one of the "believers" who bought a cap and trusted the brand from day one. Thank you—seriously.
I want you to know that this isn't some corporate operation. Every single cap that has been ordered—I’ve handled it personally. From replying to your online messages to physically packaging the hats and driving them to the delivery hub, it’s all been me.
Even as I’m approaching 50, doing this hands-on work for you makes me feel incredibly energetic and young. There’s something special about knowing exactly whose hands these caps are going into.
This isn't just a business for me. It’s a way to celebrate where I’ve been while introducing new ideas to the world, one print at a time.
I’m so glad to have you along for this journey. Let’s see where this road takes us.
