Who on earth would photograph this woman in black-and-white?...

That's much better, thanks.
[Note that only two other architects dare to sneak color into their sartorial suits-of-armor for the evening, both in Franch-approved blue.]
This photo: NEEDS MORE NEON. +10 for the United Shoes, though, worn by lady architects partout in New York.
They know a (neon) golden photo op when they see one. L-R: Eva Franch, Peter Guggenheimer, Monty Freeman, Charles Renfro, and Sarah Herda.
Who, me? Breezily standing stripèd in a breezeway?
For stripes in context, see here. Gràcies.

Star of the show at this year's Festival of Ideas for the New City. It was a doozy from start to finish, from facade projections on the New Museum to a 50-foot-model of Manhattan to a Bucky Fuller-approved blow-up dome.
Surveying her domain, with top notes of garnet and top knot of glossy black.
I see your architect glasses and raise you green polka dots and a bun held up by a chopstick.
After a brief hiatus, we're back! Back with a 3D geometric color-blocked necklace, as shown with supporting guests Snarkitecture inside the foamiest exhibition Storefront has ever seen.
[Hat tip to Biodebop, via email.]
Eva Franch with Florian Idenburg & Jing Liu of SO-IL (MoMA and P.S.1's Young Architects Program winner for 2010).
Naturally, Storefront's director is looking so ill.

Eva regaling a crowd of luminaries (Karen Wong from the New Museum, Stan Allen from Yale, Charles Renfro of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Jeffrey Inaba of C-LAB) at the cocktail reception for her appointment as director of Storefront.
When the going gets fancy, the bun comes down.
Barry Diller and Diane Von Furstenberg being like "Whoa. Look at all these architects dressed in black turtlenecks. Bo-ring. Bring us some Catalans!"
Storefront for Art & Architecture 25th Anniversary Gala in 2008. Two years later, the board hires one Eva Franch Gilabert. Coincidence? Wethinks not.
Please tell us she's doing karaoke. Noooope... it's a cabaret!

SWOON.

Ms. Franch Gilabert killing it, per usual, at this year's New Museum Gala After Party. Please note the re-appearance of magenta (shoes, tights, lipstick) and this season's It Bag, the zippered pouch.

FYI if Claudia Kishi were born in Spain and grew up to be an architect... This would be her fierce competition.
The one and only Eva Franch with Peter Guggenheimer at the pre-party for DIG by Daniel Arsham/Snarkitecture. Furry coat from ambiguous animal? Check. Aggressive topknot? Check. Killer manicure? You betcha.
