What just happened??
I wasn’t really paying attention to the screen much because I was cursing at the ant that bit my lip (HOW did it get here???). I squashed it with all vindictiveness, now I feel bad. Happiness really taught me nothing. Then I heard my classmate say she couldn’t hear Ajarn. I couldn’t either. I thought it was some technical issue, but it was actually a prank!

2. (Sense of an Ending) Death, or just the idea of death. I think I was half right, but only because death is such a common topic. I expected a bit more of a closure at the end but it seems the story ends with more conflict - that’s how I felt.

1. (What would you want to tell Julian Barnes?) Your work is almost too conceptual to follow, but I like it.
2. (What would you want to tell people when you’re gone?) Writing a to-do list before you go to sleep is NOT a good idea. Do it in the morning. That way you’ll sleep well and won’t get anxious.

At least we have rice in Space. I can’t imagine how depressing it would be if we had brought only pasta and bread. Rice is most ordinary, most overlooked on Earth, but not here. My family first pioneered growing rice on Planet X23 three years ago (according to this planet’s concept of time). The idea came when my little brother blasted Kanye West and Dad misheard the lyrics.
“We can grow rice here!” Dad shouted.
“What?” My brother took off the headphone.
“He’s a genius! That guy you’re listening to.”
“Whatever.”
So there it began.

I had ice-cream. It was really good. I wanted more but my brother wouldn’t pay more for me. But he had two more! I don’t like my neighbor. She can spell the word “Lord-Chong” right. And she can read the clock. But she is 6 months older than me. Why do I have to play spelling games and reading the clock with someone older than me? It’s not fair! As I told you yesterday, I fed the ugly dog a jasmine flower. I’m afraid it will die anytime soon. Hope no one knows I’m the one who killed it. I’m really scared if anyone knows. Will I be bare nitched from home if Mom finds out?

If I was free to do whatever I want, what would I do? Easy. I’d open a shelter for stray cats, elite runaway cats are also welcomed. I’d build a movie theater, it’d sure be bankrupt because I refuse to screen Marvel movies, but I’m free to do anything right? I’d shoot a documentary about cats. I’ll think about the topic later. I’d write (originally I said “make” but that’s unlikely... I’d never be capable of directing anything) a scrabble show. Like The Queen’s Gambit, but about scrabble. Or pay someone else to do it. Look, I got so excited watching a chess show and a documentary about spelling bees, imagine what it’d like if it was something I actually care about. No offense ATJ and spelling bees.
Seeing the others’ responses I find mine ridiculous and self-centered now. But if I was asked again, I’d still choose to live in fantasy.
