he's very obviously trans. just look at the difference between seasons 1 and 2. the T finally kicked in.

he's also bi. everything about his energy supports this you don't need me to tell you this.

also, he's a band kid. hear me out: plays trombone. kind of a tryhard. makes many corny jokes. comfortable under a chain of command. that is a BAND KID. he was in the starfleet academy marching band in my mind. i am simply waiting for the day the rest of the enterprise learns this. nothing else explains his personality so perfectly. (note: this is the one i don't think has any chance of ever actually happening, but i can dream.)

also like in general i love how competent and level-headed he is. he's written like he's kind of SUPPOSED to be the like, wildcard first officer to picard's more rules-following self, except picard once got stabbed in the heart in a barfight and riker is always reminding picard about regulations like "you're the captain of a star ship don't go. die???" so my headcanon about this is that before the enterprise riker WAS a little more of a loose canon and then he got assigned to picard and realized, oh no, someone in this command team had to be the well-adjusted one and the other options were his empath situationship, his clearly insane captain, a robot, a klingon, a child, the captain's situationship, and a traumatized security officer. he had no choice. he became the well-adjusted one by proxy.

sometimes he and geordi i think hang out and appreciate being the two people who are normally kind of just doing fine.

like it never stops being funny to me that the guy who seems like he SHOULD be the womanizing loose canon is somehow largely just a respectful, competent officer who largely has his shit fully together in basically every situation. like, the entire crew is competent mind you that is one of the appeals of this show but in general riker is an emotional rock who makes sensible, by-the-book choices.

Because, yes, he was. And yes he thought Q!Tubbo as a traitor as Q!Ayrobot took control but why is really important.

Yes, there was a huge part in saving his own life and winning, but he also....wanted to make sure his side live. He was not the type to think that both side will live if egality in score. So he choses to help.

More proofs ? Okay. When Q!Bad try to joke about joining the other side, he shows almost immediately his weapon.

During last day, he was with the others, trying to protect and assist his leader.

Q!Aypierre, like the others is tied to Soulfire.

Not in a naive way, in a way of survival for Q!Ayrobot, more in terms of misfortune company for Q!Aypierre, and absolutely in a extreme degree, probably because of recent betrayal and abandonment he felt just before Purgatory (put someone recently betrayed AND a robot who has also been betrayed before in Purgatory, not surprising that betrayal don't sound good at all for them and they will absolutely search for people who will not abandon them and Purgatory when survival depends on your team tend to ease this feeling....and you will make sure it tends to, at all cost ) And since he is one with Q!Ayrobot now, he probably put some influence in not wanting to abandon his team.

But don't get me wrong. Both of them because of their past and their experience on this type of game stay a little bit wary of their team and if anyone of them try to kill them, they will defend themselve and try to take revenge. It will have worsen even more Q!Aypierre's trust in his friends and he would have been able to betray them for survival since he will not have trusted them anymore. But at this point, only speculations. Back to facts.

As you can understand with what I just said, he valued trust the most in Purgatory. For them, the promise of the Eggs Attack (not attacking Eggs) was his trust on others teams. They betrayed it, he lost it and let the survivor take control (Q!Ayrobot ). So what linked him to others in was trust. And Soulfire put trust in him and he put trust in them to the point of becoming extreme with it. If one of them betray Soulfire he will have killed him / her without hesitation.

Sequel to Purgatory ? He wasn't there during the "coach" episode and with what happened with Q!Tubbo during Purgatory (the young naive knight VS the old retired who see too much veteran ), he was not so attached to Q!Tubbo as the others were, but in emergency cases, he will absolutely work in tandem with him and give what he asks just as he did in Purgatory. Other consequences ? Reinforce again a relationship and opening a long serie of moments of them united in things (prisons, mischiefs acts....).

(Some of these points may be a little divisive - it's just my personal opinion. Content creators will be referred to as players for conciseness. QSMP as it has been for the past year, for the sake of this post, will be referred to as "season 1".)

1. TAKE A FUCKING BREAK.

I do not want to see the QSMP coming back in less than two months at the very, very least. Five or six months to a year is ideal, in my opinion.

This is for a few reasons. Firstly, the obvious; I want Quackity Studios to take the necessary time to make 100% sure that everyone who has worked, does work, or will work for them is compensated. Not just this, but I want the communication among the studio to become streamlined and consistent, for the purpose of maintaining the quality of the SMP, the quality of life of the employees, and entirely avoiding a repeat of the previous situation. Any less will be unacceptable, and prove that all people in charge, including and especially Quackity himself, have not learned their lesson.

Secondly, I am very sure that a lot of players will lack or have completely lost their motivation for the QSMP, due to the nature of the last few months of season 1. I am sure that those who had a lot of lore written up and had to scrap it or cut it short are probably still quite sore about it, and may not have the energy to pick the QSMP story back up. This is especially true if they had already given their characters a canon ending and don't want to overshadow it. When creating a new SMP, or a new season of an SMP, you first and foremost need player motivation to be high. Waiting several months would ensure that the wound of player lore being ruined would have mostly healed over by the start of season 2.

Thirdly, viewer engagement will always be an important thing to take into consideration when creating an SMP that will be televised. The large majority of QSMP fans are completely burned out from watching. Leaving a large gap between seasons 1 and 2 would let fans, who have had an exhausting last few months, recover and reset. It will also allow hype and anticipation to build up when things eventually start being teased and announced again. Fans have a lot of disdain for this project at the present moment, and waiting for a while between seasons will not only let fans know that serious action is being taken behind the scenes, but also will let the sour attitude a lot of fans have right now wear off over time.

2. RESET. FOR REAL THIS TIME.

Probably my most controversial take on this topic will be; I fully believe that if a QSMP season 2 is to occur, it should be a completely new server. By completely new I naturally mean a new map, but also ZERO LORE CONTINUATION. I know this is a hot take, but I personally believe QSMP season 2 is a perfect chance for a completely fresh start, and a fresh start cannot happen if it still takes place in the same universe.

We all know that season 1's lore was overwhelming, slightly confusing, and at the end of the day, completely disjointed. We all fell in love with the terrifying Federation and Codes, yes, we all loved the basis of the story; a group of people from different countries get stranded on a "perfect" paradise island controlled by a governmental body that won't let them leave, and have to work together; but at the end of the day, the lore of season 1 became messy. Very messy. Instead of trying again and again to salvage it, the best option is probably to just start again.

Put the same players in a different map, give them a completely different premise, and let the lore unfold anew. Which leads into my next point.

3. PLAYER DRIVEN LORE.

Let the players develop the story. If a player has an overarching storyline they are unfolding themselves, prioritise letting them do so. All of the best lore in season 1 was player created, and player enacted; Cellbit's regret arc, the happy pills, Cellbit's murdering Fed workers arc, literally everything Fit ever did, Roier's lore, ect ect ect. Server admins should only intervene in player's lore when directly asked, and big changes to the server's status quo should only occur when there is no active lore to be interrupted, everyone agrees it should happen, and it would actively drive engagement up, rather than down.

The best case scenario for a QSMP season 2, in my opinion, is for the server admins and Quackity to come up with an exciting and engaging premise for a brand new universe with brand new characters, to place the players in an interesting themed map, and just let them loose. Let the lore build naturally, and see what comes of it.

IN CONCLUSION.

I vehemently disagree with people who believe the QSMP should not have a season 2. The QSMP is a brilliant idea, and its noble goals shine through all of the incredible friendships and memories it, and only it, made. There is no other server like QSMP.

The act of uniting people from all over the world has been proven to be an extremely important and worthwhile goal. I, genuinely, admire Quackity for his passion in this, and for understanding that this thing should not be easily given up on or let go. Drastic changes need to occur, but the QSMP is bigger than just a Minecraft server; it represents so much unity, community, and love.

It is worth saving.

I hope, desperately and for the sake of everyone involved, past future and present, that the QSMP can come back better and stronger than ever, continuing to further its goals; to tell amazing stories, to forge impossible friendships, to spark joy and laughter, and to bring people together no matter the barriers keeping them apart.

À l'heure où j'écris ces mots, le Ayhalo n'est qu'une projection de certains esprits dans la commu de Bad et de Aypierre. Il est loin d'être en première position et les habitants eux-mêmes de Quesadilla ne l'envisagent pas, probablement dû au fait des sentiments très puissants de Q!Aypierre pour Q!Max ou de ceux qu'ils viennent de découvrir pour Cucurucho de Q!Bad. Les chances pour que ça évolue sont.....quasiment nulles, on va pas se mentir. Mais je disais ça aussi pour le Furryduo, à cause de l'Ohnana duo et du Chicomaxo, et voyez comment ça a évolué. Et moi-même j'ai évolué en passant d'une pensée que c'était un cracked ship d'une très forte amitié à la considération comme un ship réel. Un terrain parfait pour la Fanfiction, tout ça :) Mais y a des trucs. Des trucs qui font que, si ça se faisait, ça collerait.

Je prends appui parfois sur des posts vu ici (notamment l'analyse de Q!Bad super bien faite partagée juste avant ) ou le Discord (la discussion du jour du "malin mais fou" ).

On explore un peu ça ?

I ) Leurs points communs et leurs liens.

Le titre vous surprend peut être, mais oui, ils en ont. Probablement plus évidents qu'entre Q!Max et Q!Aypierre, d'ailleurs.

A) Leur boussole morale.

On commence par du lourd et du évident. XD Ils sont clairement dans une boussole morale complètement fuck up et grise. Ce n'est pas qu'ils sont immoraux, plutôt amoraux. La différence ? Immoral veut dire qu'il enfreint délibérément la morale en sachant pertinemment qu'il s'agit d'actes immoraux, qu'il la rejette, amoral, qu'il n'a tout simplement pas de morale, pas qu'il l'a rejeté mais plutôt que la morale n'est pas prise en considération dans ses actes. Et là, vous vous dites, "pourquoi amoraux ? Ils ont déjà trahi leurs camarades notamment dans le Purgatoire ". Mais pourquoi l'ont-ils fait ? Telle est la question à se poser ici. Ils l'ont fait pour survivre et parce qu'il (Ayrobot ) considérait qu'il n'y avait déjà plus de morale et absolument pas à en prendre compte, s'il ne voulait pas être trop faible et offrir une occasion d'être exploité. En d'autres termes, refus de prise en considération de la morale qui eut été un choix naïf quitte à passer pour immoral. Ayrobot a t-il conscience que ce soit mal ? Non. Ce qui importe pour Ayrobot, c'est la survie, et ce depuis toujours. Il n'a PAS de base de morale, n'étant pas humain. Et Q!Bad ? Q!Bad est un démon et un ancien régulier de ce genre de jeu comme Q!Aypierre, ou la morale est à oublier pour ne pas être trahi et survivre. Ils appliquent les règles, conscients que quoi qu'ils fassent, ils seront jugés négativement de toute façon.

Aussi étrange qu'il soit possible, ils ont pourtant une moralité. Leurs proches sont tout pour eux. Et ils feraient absolument TOUT pour eux. Jusqu'à se donner en pâture à des Vultures, jusqu'à fournir des objets illégaux sans savoir pourquoi. Jusqu'à tuer, si besoin. (Plus Ayrobot que Q!Aypierre sur ce point. Une preuve ? L'épreuve de combat durant la prison. Le premier choix de Q!Aypierre ? Plutôt que se battre....Danser. ) Et ils soutiennent de bout en bout leurs proches, même dans les idées les plus saugrenues (des trous au Spawn permettraient de retrouver les oeufs ? Lets go ! Un train de siége ? Allons y ! ). Ce sont des Ride or Die, tous les deux. Et ils se soutiennent toujours. Approuvent les idées de l'un l'autre quand bien même elle soit fucked UP as fuck, offrant même leur aide si besoin (la prank sur le toit de Q!Tubbo ). Pire que ça : ils alimentent les excentricités de l'un l'autre constamment. Les apprécient même (surtout Q!Aypierre ) à leur juste valeur. Là où un Q!Tubbo, un Q!Roier ou un Q!Mike se désespéreraient et maudiraient Q!Bad, Q!Aypierre va reconnaître le génie de la prank, l'apprécier, l'admirer et même la déclencher en sachant pertinemment ce que cela va faire. Puis va rendre la faveur. En un peu plus fort mais sans jamais y aller TROP fort, pour rester dans une bonne équivalence. Q!Bad.....est plus mauvais joueur sur ça. "Ne fais pas aux autres ce qu'on ne voudrait pas qu'on te fasse " ne s'applique pas du tout pour lui XD Mais il reconnaît aussi le génie de certaines pranks, tout en craignant parfois qu'elles lui arrivent (la fois où Q!Aypierre a parlé de remplacer UN truc dans un décor sans rien dire et qui aurait angoissé Q!Bad ).

B) Leur génie et leur folie

Comme je l'ai dit leurs seuls limites sont ce que leurs proches ont besoin. Surtout les oeufs pour Q!Bad, les oeufs et le cercle très rapproché (les Français, Q!Bad et Q!Max ) pour Q!Aypierre. Ils ne feront pas de mal consciemment aux autres (ou du moins ce qui ne correspond pas à faire du mal à quelqu'un selon eux ) sans aucune raison (et non les pranks à Q!Tubbo n'étaient pas gratuites ) mais ça n'ira jamais au delà de pranks, hors Purgatoire. Ils considèrent même ça comme des moyens de souhaiter des bons retours et offrir de l'attention (Q!Bad ) ou de simplement entretenir une rivalité amicale (Q!Aypierre ). Ils passent les trois quart de leur temps à conspirer ensemble sur de nouvelles manière de détourner le serveur, les bugs, ou créer de nouvelles choses....Et vont immédiatement chercher l'autre pour en parler. On ne compte plus les fois où Q!Aypierre a laché un "j'en parlerais à Bébou " durant un stream.

Une conversation avec Bébou, on sait quand elle commence, jamais quand elle prend fin et Q!Aypierre en a parfaitement conscience xD

Ils admirent également l'ingéniosité de l'un l'autre constamment et se le disent et là où d'autres s'arrêtent la, ils sont curieux et se demandent comment l'autre a procédé et se le font expliquer et si besoin est, se prodiguent des conseils pour améliorer.

Ce sont des génies, tout les deux. L'un est un mastermind dans l'élaboration de plans (Q!Bad ), l'autre un support technique, un Q en puissance en somme (Q!Aypierre ) qui élabore également des plans quand il faut appuyer ses proches, notamment Q!Bad (les waystones ) et.....pour vendre ses objets. XD

Mais le génie va de pair avec la folie....Et pour eux, c'est TRES vrai. Pour Q!Bad, c'est la démesure, comme placer des blocs de neige pour couvrir le Tubbhole, pour Q!Aypierre l'excentricité notamment avec le Furry Club. C'est jouer avec le nucléaire parce qu'ils peuvent le faire, même si pour le coup, Q!Aypierre est un chouia plus responsable sur ça XD

C) Leur amour des pranks

On en a déjà parlé, un peu en diagonale, alors ce point sera court. Ils aiment ça. Tous les deux, et plus que de raison. Au point de faire des productions immenses, juste pour en réaliser une. Leurs raisons divergent (que ce soit pour offrir de l'attention ou un bon retour ou entretenir une rivalité amicale ou simplement en réponse à une prank ) mais leur amour commun des pranks fait qu'ils s'aideront toujours, se montreront leurs pranks respectives sans hésiter. Et se gaslighteront sur qui l'a fait chez eux pour entretenir la guerre des pranks tout en sachant pertinemment que celui en face de l'autre en ait l'auteur. Q!Aypierre est même à présent capable de déceler les pranks de Q!Bad en reconnaissant son style XD

Q!Aypierre est cependant plus un adepte des blagues à l'oral et en fait constamment à Q!Bad qui les apprécie.

D) Leurs Trust Issues

Oh qu'ils en ont. Q!Bad est un paranoïaque qui n'accorde sa confiance que très peu et à très peu de personnes. Q!Aypierre ne se confie que très peu également, de peur d'être utilisé ou vu comme faible et se dissimule derrière ses plaisanteries constamment. Et.....ils acceptent ça chez l'autre. Font en sorte de respecter ce sentiment chez l'autre et le prennent en considération (entrer en premier dans le musée de peur qu'il y ait une cage pour Q!Bad ) par exemple, comme un post ici l'avait bien souligné. Comment est née leur confiance, @issialou l'a très bien expliqué, donc j'y reviendrai pas, mais..... Pour l'heure Q!Bad est la seule personne en dehors de sa fille en laquelle Q!Aypierre a entièrement confiance et la seule sur laquelle il sait pouvoir compter. Il ne lui dira pas tout, tout comme Q!Bad, mais si l'un l'autre se posent des questions sur leurs états, ils se répondront ("Comment tu vis l'absence de Pomme " "Je bois " ). Ce ne sera pas très clair et très vite la blague reviendra minimiser le truc, mais c'est bien plus que pour la plupart des gens (à l'exception des oeufs qui sont sa faiblesse et à laquelle il dira tout en minimisant cependant ).

E) Leur manière de gérer l'abandon.

......Mal ? Ni Q!Bad ni Q!Aypierre ne supportent l'abandon. Surtout après s'être laissé s'attacher. La trahison offre des occasions à Ayrobot de se réveiller, également, visiblement, probablement du à son passé. Si Q!Bad semble en recherche d'attention constante à présent, Q!Aypierre est semble t-il un peu plus indépendant, probablement dû à cette fameuse peur d'être exploité si trop dépendant et la rupture avec Q!Max a aggravé le truc au point d'exacerber le lien commercial comme seul lien possible pour obtenir un truc, hors cas d'urgence et se dissimuler derrière ses blagues ou faire peur pour ne pas qu'on l'approche trop près de nouveau.

Mais une chose est sûre : abandonnez les, ils vous le feront PAYER (plus Ayrobot sur ce coup là ).

Vous en tiendront-ils rigueur ?. ......Non. revenez vers eux et hop, fini, terminé. XD Ride or Die XD

Où ils vous feront revenir vers eux. En explosant votre bureau, par exemple :D

F) Le capitalisme.

C'est probablement les deux sur le serveur qui le prennent autant au sérieux et y sont attachés. Et qui se sont associés. Au point de bassiner leur fille avec ça, à chaque fois qu'ils s'emportent dans leur roleplay de vendeur et d'acheteur radin xD

Le capitalisme est aussi devenu une manière pour Q!Aypierre de se dissimuler, ne plus se montrer comme possible à exploiter et empêcher les gens de venir voir trop près. Le paiement en nature est en effet devenu impossible avec lui (son refus à Q!Mike ).

G) Leur haine de l'ennui.

Ils ont du temps devant eux ? Trop d'objets à vendre et personne d'assez riche pour les acheter ? Et bien essayons de le vendre à l'autre même s'il en a pas du tout besoin et qu'il est radin :D

Ils jouent, constamment l'un avec l'autre. Et ils savent TRES bien que ce n'est qu'un jeu. Ils le poussent parfois loin, (notamment les dix mille patates ) mais à leurs yeux, ce n'est rien de plus que des blagues et une espèce de jeu de rôle play dans le rôle play. C'est souvent à qui ira le plus loin, et Q!Bad gagne constamment car Q!Aypierre ne s'attend jamais à ce qu'il pousse leur mini roleplay aussi loin XD Ils en arrivent même à une certaine domesticité, dans la complicité de leurs blagues et leur récurrence, sans même s'en rendre compte, au point de parfois ressembler à un vieux couple. XD

Le jeu est même parfois utilisé pour aider l'autre, avec sa mémoire, ou pour son moral.

Ils suivent instantanément l'autre dans une tentative de roleplay, également. Une musique dramatique pour aucune raison ? Le ton le devient également. Tu te dis nouveau banquier ? Je serais un nouveau client :D

Et.....ils ne laissent jamais l'autre déprimer ou s'ennuyer. S'ils sont parfaitement capables de s'occuper tout seuls (un plus chaotiquement que l'autre ), si l'autre leur confie une tâche, ou a une idée, leur permettant de pas penser et pas s'ennuyer....Ils prennent. Il a également été prouvé que Q!Bad est celui qui a été chercher Q!Aypierre au reset et ce qui a mené aux débuts de la Stonks and Muffin.

H) Leur soucis de l'autre.

Absolument pas conventionnel, sauf pour les oeufs. L'un va demander aux autres, de veiller si besoin et veiller dans l'ombre (Q!Aypierre), l'autre va de temps à autre poser des questions mais surtout s'assurer de maintenir le moral par des actes et propositions, tout en dissimulant son propre état (Q!Bad ).

Ils se soucient beaucoup de l'autre, mais font en sorte de ne pas inquiéter sur leur état et faire ce qu'ils peuvent pour aider l'autre.

Bon, ce post est LONG, alors on va le découper en deux parties. La prochaine fois, je parlerai des obstacles pour le Ayhalo et ptêt comment je verrais une évolution, si ça devait arriver et se concretiser.
