Feel free to interact with him as you see fit!
When Lotta Hart is the voice of reason, something is horribly wrong.
Gauging Interest
Two things:
Would anyone be interested in RPing with Charlotte Hartford/young Lotta Hart? The headcanon she stems from is linked to at the end of the post.
Also, would anyone be interested if I started a Prosecutor Wright blog?
Lotta headcanon: http://alittlealotta.tumblr.com/headcanonsandverses
your muse is allowed to underestimate my muse
your muse is allowed to disrespect my muse
your muse is allowed to provoke my muse
your muse is allowed to be a little asshole to my muse
and more – !!
So long as you, the mun, understand the consequences of your muse ticking off my muse your muse is allowed to be not nice to mine. Confrontation can be interesting and fun to rp! I welcome it! While you, the mun, should know better than to provoke my muse your muse might not and that’s okay! Mun does not equal muse and vice versa. When your muse provokes mine, disrespects mine, underestimates mine, I am trusting that even if your muse doesn’t know the consequences that you, the other mun, understand there are repercussions for your muse being an asshole.
you want your muse to be an ass to mine? that’s fine – just don’t whine when your muse doesn’t come out of it unscathed.

Angel could see something was being hidden. “Ms. Hart, I would appreciate you not lying. You seem to know something that might help find the proper killer. Tell me please.” She was going to use the nice route first.
“If we don’t get them behind bars, more people could die.”
She started to pace behind the desk. She was growing impatient.
Lotta tried to remain calm, but calm was not a natural state for the woman. “I told you! I come out, see the stiff, call the police, but someone got there first! That’s all there is, an’ if you think there’s anythin’ else, you’re crazier than a man tryin’ to empty a bathtub with a thimble! Why would I lie about it anyway? Do you think I did it? Do ya? You said the man was strangled to death–how could I strangle someone who was that big? I may be a corn-fed country gal, but that’s a little much, don’t you think? And how about those bullet wounds? Why would I shoot someone AFTER I’d already strangled them?”
Lotta could think of a reason–it was Rich’s signature as a hitman, after all–but best not to bring that up.
Angel smirked, her hair flipped to the cold grey eye. Her hands suddenly slammed down on the desk. “Ms. Hart. how do you know it was AFTER the strangling that the man was shot? Unless you know some information you’re not saying.” Her smirk wasn’t that flirty smirk, but more wicked, meant to scare her.
"!" Lotta pulled back, cowering. Uh-oh. She recovered quickly, however. "The wounds weren't that bloody, so it stands to reason that his heart weren't beatin' when he was shot. Otherwise there'd be blood all over his front. That's pretty easy, I reckon. Don't take an outside source to see it." An internal sigh of relief.

She had hit a point in interrogating Lotta where she knew she was hiding something. Something big. The other woman had witnessed something. Angel rested her hip on the desk. “Ms. Hart….Please…If you didn’t do it, you need to give us as much information as possible to clear your name.”
“I told you, I didn’t see anythin’. Well, except the stiff, if that counts.” That was true, at least. She hadn’t seen anything of the murder, and she hadn’t known there was one until she stumbled across the corpse.
Knowing anything about the murder, on the other hand? That was a different story. She’d seen this method before, from a part of her life that she didn’t care to think about. The man responsible was likely Rich Impacem…a man who her father had occasionally contacted to do his dirty work as a politician. By the time Lotta had been old enough to understand what was going on, she’d been scared into silence by the rest of her family, and by the time she was out from under their thumb, she knew that saying anything would just put her right back where she started—in a mansion on the East Coast, strangled by her poisonous last name.
Why Rich was here…that was something that Lotta hoped she didn’t know the answer to.

Once Upon a Time...
@myfrillspaythebills
Lotta Hart never asked for this. Not by a long shot.
She was barely scraping by as is, making her living as a reporter for the local newspaper--as if the outfit published bona fide news and not just Prosecutor’s Office propaganda at this point, but hey, she had to eat. Anyone in her position would have done the same thing, she told herself late at night, when thoughts of rebellion were strongest.
It had been six years since the government of Japanifornia had fallen, and five since the current establishment, made up of members of law enforcement and the prosecutor’s office, had taken over. The first few weeks had been horrible--rivers of fear and blood pouring out of the courthouse, most “traitors” executed on the spot via firing squad. It had eventually calmed down, but...the stories of people disappearing into the Prosecutor’s Offices and never coming back out again were still common enough to terrify the general populace.
And one man stood at the center of it all: Miles Edgeworth.
As a prosecutor before the fall, he had been terrifying enough, never having lost a case. After the fall...he’d become nothing short of monstrous, rising through the ranks and becoming Chief Prosecutor, ruling over Los Angeles with an iron fist.
It was this very man that Lotta had found lying in an alleyway on her way home. His face was unmistakable; Lotta had debated leaving him there; after all, he would have no way of knowing she’d left him there. Or would he? Informants could be anywhere. This could be another one of his famous little tests, seeing which of his citizens would abandon him in need.
And failing one of Edgeworth’s tests generally proved fatal.
So, Lotta had carried him home as best she could, put him on the couch in her trailer, sat in a nearby chair...and waited.
An Enormous Oops
Lotta nodded, rising from her seat, and followed Mr. Edgeworth to wherever he needed her to go. She kept her head down, still utterly humiliated to have been caught.
“I…I didn’t mean to make ya sour, Mr. Edgeworth. I just played Mr. von Karma because…because the others love Hickfred, and I love makin’ people laugh, that’s all. If I’d known you were gonna be there, I woulda at least had the others choose a different case!“ She continued to stammer, face burning.
“You don’t have to explain it away,” Miles huffed. “I think I heard and saw enough.”
He returned to the courthouse library, and walked over to an open computer. “…Do you know how to transfer your notes electronically yet?”
“Yes, sir. I do. We were taught that in trainin’. I’m a pretty quick typist now with these gol-dang machines.” Lotta nodded, seemingly loosening up. She sat down at the computer.

Send "Is somebody here tonight?" to communicate with my muse's spirit through Ouija board.
The way it will turn out totally depends on role players. It might vary from a sentimental conversation with lost lover to demonic possession.
