      Was this kid for real? She probably shouldn’t have given him the time of day after he nearly ran her over, but there she goes, catching up on her broomstick because why are kids so fast–

      “Hey. You got a lead here? In the city?”

                                it  was  amazing  his  tiny  legs  could  move  so  fast  .    eyes  were  focused  on  a  point  in  front  of  him  ,    not  bothering  to  look  to  the  stranger  who  had    (    surprisingly    )    decided  to  even  pay  him  attention  .    ❝      yep  !     think  about  it  ---    who  would  suspect  a  bigfeet  in  THIS  place  ?    it’s  the  perfect  camouflage  and  i’m  SURE  i  know  just  where  he’s  ---      ❞

Timon blinked, which more or less constituted for a verbal stutter.

“…    Hard work and determination?” Timon really didn’t know what to tell the kid. Who seemed to be aiming to scrutinize his existence as a commodity with those big’ol eyes hiding behind glasses.  “How do you talk?” Humans were animals too.

        Ah, now this is one obstacle he had expected! After all, he practically baited that insolent school boy into following him. Zim knows of the hidden cameras placed around his base ( ones that he usually destroys, only for them to be replaced in a few day’s time ), and he had loudly proclaimed one day how he was going to the fringes of the galaxy, to the forgotten ( or, er, not-so-forgotten, if he can remember it ) planet of Gloophius to find their planet-destroying weapon.

       Well, he found it, but he can’t really figure out how it works.

        “Zim is preparing to blast your wretched little planet to SMITHEREENS with this ALL-POWERFUL STAR DESTROYER,” he replies, tapping a clawed finger against the too-confusing control boards. They won’t turn on! Ancient alien technology isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. “… Whenever I can get it to turn on.”

                                 a  star  destroyer  ?    who  would  leave  a  STAR  DESTROYER  unattended  in  space  ? !     fists  clench  at  his  sides  ,    knees  bent  and  ready  to  pounce  .     no  way  would  he  allow  this  weapon  to  fall  into  IRKEN  hands  --- --- ---    the  UNIVERSE  would  thank  him  later  .

                                 ❝      ZIM  ! ! !      ❞    so  it’s  come  to  this  ---    sure  the  boy  had  tracked  the  alien  down  through  the  depths  of  space  before  ,    but  each  time  was  just  as  exhilarating  as  the  last  .    the  modifications  he’d  made  to  tak’s  ship  truly  were  useful  ,    aside  from  her  rude  computer  self  .

                                 ❝      all  sorts  of  paranormal  things  are  supposed  to  be  in  this  town  ---      ❞    hands  are  clenched  into  fists  as  the  frustrated  boy  kicks  at  the  ground  .    ❝      aliens  ,    gods  ,    superheroes  ,     barbra  streisand  ! ! !      ❞    how  come  when  he  shows  up  nothing  remotely  interesting  happens  ?

                                  ❝      i  got  proof  !    LOOK  ! ! !   everyone  look  ---    ALIENS  ARE  REAL  !      ❞    the  boy  runs  down  the  side  walk  ,    waving  a  poorly  taken  photo  of  his  alien  classmate  without  his  human  disguise  on  .    he  had  to  show  the  world  ,    anyone  he  came  across  .
