I think it has a good, complicated depiction of what life and love and meaning is.

There is symbolism, and correspondence with our very real world, everywhere.

That being said, the relationships specifically give a good example of how real people are and function. Not saying that they should function like that, but they do. It's not their fault, but it is their responsibility.

I say all that to say, I love Luka. And he's probably my favorite, like ever. I wish he had gotten the love and upbringing that would have made him a person I would never look twice that.

that doesn't mean i'm defending him though. i love luka bc he's such a flawed character, not bc he's likable. i dont understand why some alnst fans get mad over me favoring luka.

I don't think people know how to deal with liking other individuals if they are "bad people" or have done bad things and haven't outwardly apologized ( though I do believe some characters get to "repent") and, most importantly,

I think an aspect of human society in general is very apparent in this fandom. Because, like I said, I haven't seen a fandom as wild on the discourse as this one, in a long while. I don't know what that aspect is, necessarily, (I have my theories) but it's very apparent because of the discourse, that there is a blank on how to deal with it within human society.
