“So there I was… I’d auditioned for the role of Marius, and on set I’m surrounded by a supporting cast who’s all done Marius on stage. Some were even playing him on stage in the evening. Mr. Redmayne and I were a little intimidated by that, but we’re good actors. We can bluff.”

”Apparently, I (Enjolras) am everybody’s sweetheart. I’m a seriously good amis. Very romantic and loyal at heart, and I only wear red coats (tailor made, all right?).”

“We built the barricade with the cameras rolling. Took a whole day. There were no director’s cuts - only on us… and bruises. Lots of bruises and cuts. Also, it took 45 seconds to reload the guns, so sometimes I reloaded for Mr. Redmayne because, like I said… I’m a very good amis. The adrenaline rush was real, as we fought not to get shot… which was not for real, obviously.”
