Hello! I love the Alex Rider graphic novels! I'd like to ask if you plan to continue adapting the other books after the Ark Angel graphic novel.
I enjoyed my time with them a lot ^_^ (this is Emma Vieceli writing here) Ultimately it's up to the team at walker books whether more will happen, but I'm afraid I personally haven't been on the series since I pencilled Ark Angel.

Ahh thank you so much x I'm afraid I'm not, no. This is Emma Vieceli writing here. I did pencils and inks for Scorpia (colours by Kate Brown), and then only the pencils for Ark Angel (Amrit Birdi took my pencils and added ink and colour for that one). I'm not sure where Amrit stayed on for another GN after that. I really enjoyed my time with Alex - thank you for the kind words. ^_^
Hi I am a massive Alex Rider fan I have read all the novels and in love with all the Graphic Comics up to Scorpia and just wanted to say thank you for bringing Alex to life in the comics as it reads like a young James Bond and love the storylines and the villains is like watching a Bond film. My question is why have we not heard anymore on the Ark Angel comic is it still in production as it has been a year so far and haven't heard anything?
Hi there ^_^ Thanks so much for getting in touch. We’re sorry it all went a bit quiet. There were some delays and concerns at one point, but happily - Ark Angel is back in production! *fanfare*What with the delays, I sadly found myself in a position where, when it was ready to move again, I no longer had the schedule availability to pick it up where I left off - which broke my heart a bit. However, the fabulous Amrit Birdi is picking up on inking duty, inking over my penciled pages. I’ve seen a few previews and it looks so cool! :) So yes, it’s all go! Sorry again for the wait ^_^

Good lord, it's been a little while, eh? But I'm happy to report that the ball is now in motion, and I am starting out on rough sketching the pages of Ark Angel! I'll throw up some snippets as we go, of course, so stick with us as we embark on a new Alex Rider visual adventure ^_^

ARK ANGEL is still in the production stage, so I don’t think release dates have even been discussed yet, sorry. As for further books, we’ll see...!Â

Release information for Scorpia ^_^
I know we went a bit quiet here, and apologies for that. As you know, the GN was submitted before Christmas, but we didn’t want to post anything about release dates until we had a clear idea of Walker’s publishing schedule. And, well, now we do :)
I’m afraid it’ll be a bit of a wait, but there’s plenty going in in Alex Rider land this year to keep you distracted in the meantime as it’s the 15th anniversary of our very own teen-spy!
The Scorpia graphic novel will be released in February 2016. It gives you plenty of time to re-read the novel or catch up with the series before diving into the adaptation. Again, we’re so sorry for the wait, guys. Publishing is a funny old world and actually making the book is only one part of the process. But it will be worth the wait! ^_^
As for Ark Angel - we’re just waiting on a sign-off on the script, and then we’ll make a start on the book. So look out for updates and WIP as we go. :) Thanks for your support!
I've been re-reading the older Alex Rider graphic novels and looking back over the teaser images for Scorpia and I just wanted to say that I am really really looking forward to seeing it released! :) It's going to look amazing.

Just in time for Christmas, the Scorpia graphic novel team are tearfully waving off their baby as it heads to the lovely people at Walker books ready to be prepped for its big adventure out there in the world. As soon as we know of a release date, we'll let you know. And we hope the snippets shared here have you excited and ready for a hefty 174 pages of adventure; Alex Rider style :)
Thanks so much for following our progress, but don't go anywhere - There's no time to relax here on the blog, as we now await a start date on Ark Angel!
Still, that's the future... For now, join us in celebrating the completion of Scorpia in graphic novel form ^_^
