I made this cake smooshing 3 different recipes and a quick look at the tumblr "cake" tab together for my little sister's birthday party. I bought a bunch of roses to decorate it with but, poised rose stem in hand ready to stab through the delicate layers of cake and pastry cream I totally wimped out so I threw on some geometric fruit instead.
