Cuddle Buddy || Hamish + Alexis

Hamish smirked and rubbed his stubbled cheeks. “This thing only started growing a few weeks ago, be nice," he said. “Can you believe that? Eighteen and the facial hair finally starts to grow."

"I don't know if that's supposed to be impressive, but good on you, Hamish," she laughed a tad nervously, not sure how to respond to that. Alexis did end up looking, though, and she leaned back again. "Well. It could suit you, maybe. Possibly."

Rescuing Rapunzel || Hamish + Alexis

Hamish smiled and shrugged. “I hope you like it," he said, suddenly feeling nervous. It wasn’t that he was nervous, he just didn’t want to overwhelm the girl. Steadying his resolve, he opened the door for her to enter.

She wasn't fragile, though, so she nodded and stepped in first, tugging already at her dress as she adjusted herself. "It's nice," she commented of the decor, and she looked at him. "Thanks for bringing me here, I suppose. Do you often take girls here on the first date or something?"

Daddy's Little Girl

A silence dragged out between them once Alexis had said her piece, purposeful of course, Jim liked to draw this sort of thing out. Drawled and slightly dismissively amused words punctuated the quietness. “I wasn’t planning on it. What would be the gain?" He gave a slight shake of his head, almost akin to a shrug. “Though that doesn’t mean that I won’t still have it done if you act out."

"I haven't," she protested again, and she squirmed slightly, closing her eyes as she wriggled back impossibly further. Alexis didn't want this; she didn't want to be backed into a corner when she could easily have turned a fist against someone else, something that Sebastian had thought to teach her. "Daddy, please."

Out on the Town || Alexis and Elsie

"I agree, plus pink makes most people look like a goody-two-shoes and we don’t want that." She giggled, uncapping the lid to the red lipstick. “Okay, pucker up please." She drawled, pushing the tip of the lipstick up so it would go on easily. 

She grinned at Elsie and waited for her to start work, closing her eyes so that she would be able to easily finish the makeup off. Alexis dramatically emphasised the curve of her lips, and she waited to pull back as she folded her hands in her lap. "There. Better?"

Alexis startles, first, and she pulls herself into a defensive posture, though she doesn't seem to waver at first. It's uncanny, really, how well she has learned to protect herself against everyone but Jim. Even the gun doesn't seem to faze her, and she regards him with an icy gaze. "...Who the hell are you?" She asked, her voice low. 

Daddy's Little Girl

A laugh broke the surface of Jim’s voice, abrupt and apparently uncalled for. “Don’t sound so excited now. What were you hoping for? I’m not planning on allowing you to run free any time soon, and nor am I planning to die particularly quickly."

Alexis shifted her eyes and broke off to the side, not at all wanting to engage at that moment. She didn't know if he would reach out and well, she was left to try and scramble for an answer before he did anything at all. "You aren't going to kill me," she whispered, flinching, and she squeezed her eyes shut.

Out on the Town || Alexis and Elsie

Elsie wasn’t an actual makeup artist... however she knew enough to get some color to Alexis’ face. Putting a bit of brown and pale pink eye shadow to her sister’s eyes, and carefully applying mascara. She leaned back to examine her work. “Now you look human... goodness. I work magic..." She laughed, reaching for the lip stick. “You want red or pink lipstick?" 

Alexis raised a brow at the palette that had come out for her eyes, and she almost said that she would do it herself. But who was she to interrupt her sister's fun? "Red's better on me," she said quickly, nodding as she grinned at her for a moment. "Y'know? It's nicer on the skin tone."

Cuddle Buddy || Hamish + Alexis

Smirking, he picked up the piece of popcorn and popped it into his mouth. “I forgot about that," he said, stretching out his limbs. “I don’t think I’ve ever cried at that."

"Be kind to my pathetic, feminine heart," she joked, crawling back up as she grabbed a pillow to hug to her chest. "And be quiet about it. I can't really be macho like you. Look at your beard, growing my the minute."

Rescuing Rapunzel || Hamish + Alexis

"Of course I’ll help you," he said, grinning. Hamish continued down the street, turning here and there until they reached the restaurant. “Well, here we are!"

She craned her head to look up at the sign on top of it, and she grinned slightly as she held onto his hand for balance. "This is nice," she observed, looking into the glass walls. "It's... It looks as upscale as you've said, I suppose." She laughed.
