[Mornings were not something they usually get to share. She doesn’t mind that really, because the nature of her work is that her days are never predictable and it was better this way, rarely did she have a morning to herself. But this was kind of nice…they both agreed this rental wasn’t going to work out for her, but she had it until Monday -it’s only Saturday morning- and she had no cases, maybe a sleepover with her favorite silver fox was in the cards after all.]

‘Is that so, baby?’

[She looks back at him from over her shoulder, where she stands in front of the dresser as she picked at the breakfast she had door-dashed earlier. It’s all fruits, yogurts and granola-she knows how off putting strong scents are to him- and Anthea sucks a chunk of coconut meat between her teeth as she watches him. Rowan looks good in the morning, and if she thinks too close about it, Anthea might find herself wanting more mornings with this short tempered -but not short anywhere else-wolf. She grabs the biggest strawberry from the tray before making her way back to the bed. Her fingers brush over the spot where she had shot him all that time ago, before settling back into his lap, her arm wrapping around his thick shoulders.]
