Considering that you're about to release a wonderful new comic, I have a question: are you sure you'll give up all the fluffy details (ears, fur, tail, purring) that provide additional opportunities to express the characters' emotions? I have no doubt such a wonderful author could create a stunning project, even if they just draw stick figures, but it seems odd that you'd create anything non-fluffy...

Veronica: I don’t think I use that many animal features when expressing, honestly! Low ears and spiky tails, sure, those are a given, but I don’t remember the last time I drew a character purring or doing truly animal things. BCB characters just feel like people in cartoon forms. That’s why I’d be pretty comfortable making my next story with humans!

Whenever I’ve made them do something super animalistic like show their claws I always think “that’s weird lol”
