Also bro it's the same thing, also you have lockers or a backpack. You don't just hold them in you're arms all day. That or some schools have a spot for you to keep the folder in the classroom its from.

We don't have lockers so we put our books in our bags and leave 'em in the class

This is what every american student (that ive ever met) uses to hold all the work sheets and random papers from school.

Most people have one for each subject. The school either supplies them or adds them to the list of school supplies to buy before the school year.
