For this assignment I modeled this spaceship only with NURBS. I knew since the start that I wanted a clean, elegant and chrome design. For the colors and the design I’ve been inspired by an old illustration of Batman’s Harley Quinn: her with a red and white clown dress.

This work, so far, it’s been the most rewarding one. During the graduation I won “Bigrock’s Best NURBS Award”.

This project started out as an exercise to improve my hard surface modeling skills. So far I’ve never model a car from scratch. As I was starting my project I came across an old 1955 BMW Isetta picture. The colors, the unique structure of the car made me fell in love instantly. Part of my exercise was to reinvent the structure of the car and transform it into something more unique. So I thought I would try to create a futuristic version of the original one.

This is not by any means a production model, or intended to be made, it is just a characterization.

This project started out as a gift, a gift to myself. As a passionate runner, I personally struggle everyday with my earphones. Having two different ear canals, I spend most of the time adjusting them making difficult to run. The fact the I always need my smartphone on my hand for the simplest action like changing songs doesn’t help either. So I thought to design my own personal earphones.

My first concern/goal was to design something unique, simple and helpful. The results? Check for yourself 😛
