Modern Greek Myth retellings are either like- 'Wooo The Gays Are Winning"
or 'Oh gods it is time to discard the gods and I am in pain; also everyone is queer'
Where's God of War fit on this?
Somewhere in the Jock/Goth sector; but like a note needs to be made that Kratos has left the chart and is now in the 'Dad' Sector
Why is it never a complete book?

Forgo the boring versions of gods and heroes we have seen to often. Zeus need not be ancient with a great white beard, Athena not some tall woman bearing spear and nothing else. Let the gods represent both the horror and awe their domain can bring. My book has a Charon who looks more likely the northern barbarians then any man of modern Greece because when he was first prayed to those who roamed Hellenic lands were no different. Thanatos is horrifically young in his looks, a young man with no callouses on his hands, scarred by where chains once laid and patterned with spots so alike his mothers skies. Let Apollo be so tan that his skin is hardened, his hands ran raw by the ropes of a chariot and eyes half blinded by that thing he leads. Let Hera be adorned with one thousand items from one thousand marriage rites. Let her wear a ring on every finger and beads around her neck and waist. Let her have a painted faces and pockets full of charms. Let your gods be as diverse as those things they represent, for even if in this case we only let them be Greek they're are so many things that can mean.

I say we forgo this whole era of morally good trans characters and instead play the Disney card of making them all the most memorable villains and bastards you've ever read. Can't judge my transness when there are one hundred more prominent issues you have to approach first. What, are you going to be mad that I have tits Dave? Are you mad with my tits when the guy I just murdered is laying dead on the ground in front of us? Ooooh lets ignore his stab wound in favor of my A-cups why don't we?
Wow! If I had a nickel for every time a mythological girlboss was felled by apples, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Right? Atalanta and Eve: ...
Hades got multiple things right about the gods, not the least of which being that they're all queer gender hoarding bastards with more family issues then all your collage roommates combined.
A Breakdown Of Wiki's 'List of Transgender People'
What Trans Person hasn't searched for Famous Trans People at some point? Who hasn't seen the Wiki Page exactly for that? Who hasn't realized it's laughable? Well in a bid of fixation, boredom, displeasure, access to excel and a bid to use my very fancy degree for something here is three hours of work put into some very funny (or depressing) things you can conclude from the Wiki-
According to this wiki page- - There are 452 Notable Trans People. - Over 60% of Trans people represented are from countries in which English is the primary language. - At 222 people of 452 Americans make up 49% of Trans people. - Their are 88 Trans people who use He as one of their pronouns who are notable- 19.46%. - The first Notable Known Trans person was born in 203BCE, another person was not noted until 1394. - A majority of notable Trans people are known due to working in creative fields, or for being the first Trans person in their field. This is closely followed by being known for activism. Now I think all who are reading this know these numbers cannot be right, and have been skewed by who contributes to wiki and why trans people might get a wiki page. Thankfully this is an issue we can fix. You can edit and correct wiki pages. You can make new pages. We can speak about those not mentioned by wiki ourselves, tell the stories of those who inspire you, of the uncle, the aunt, the ancestor. Most of us don't have people to tell us the history of us, and I want to make sure those who come after me have something better then incomplete lists made by bias sources to look up to.
