I Got a Need for Speed

He does. I think there’s an arcade there? I don’t really know why else he’d go there.. but as long as he’s having fun I don’t ask questions. [nods slowly as she listens to him] I’m glad you are cool with him. That makes family dinners much more bearable. Not that he’s officially family.. but you know what I mean.

Oh right. I think I’ve walked by that place once or twice while shopping... There have been talks about moving in together, but they don’t know who would move into whose house. 

He’s like.. sixteen, I think? So, he’s a little younger. He’s pretty cool though. All he really does is play video games and go to the mall, sort of the usual teenage stuff. I can’t imagine what a shock it would be finding out you have three siblings out of the blue and then adding two more a few years later. [looks over at him] How do you feel about all of that?

People still go to the mall for fun? [shrugs] I’m fine with it. Justin’s pretty cool. A little bit of a hippie, but a good guy overall.

That is true. I might have to just buy the battery from Advanced Auto and bring it in to be installed. 

Yeah, bring it by Simmons’ and I can put it in. 

I mean yeah that is true. 

Yeah they are hence why I’m low on money. *he chuckles* Yeah? Know where I can get a good deal on one?

But also I have a need for clothes.

Yeah and I would need to money to do that. At the moment it’s not possible. *sighs* Yeah I had a couple of the inner parts replaced like the transmission and the alternator but the battery is the next I need to replace. 

Eugh, those are some pricy repairs. The battery should only be $200 at most though.
