As some people know, I'm a keen on different not very popular content on 101DS fandom both new and quite old (I mean, from 2018-2022 or so. Not old enough but has been around for a long time). Tesla is my love if anybody remember her and my fanarts of her. But now I want to talk about somethin different 🔹🔷

I found an interesting 101DS AU last year. To be honest, I have known about it since 2021 (if I'm not mistaken but it may turn out that it came out in 2022 or 2023. I have bad memory due to course of antidepressants) but it was on TikTok and I have problems with log in here. So I needed a lot of time and money (to change and fix my phone, tablet, notebook and etc. LANGUAGE LOL) for finally watchin' all the episodes of this. By the way, this AU is made by very talented person named @/zerochan21 (on TikTok). As you might guess (or know ;3), this story is focused in how the Dalmatian family became what it is now. An interesting point is that most of events are told from the point of view of different puppies (like Dawkins recalls relationships between Delilah and his biological father, Deepak tells that his father was a cat because when he was little puppy the humans changed his place of residence and took his mother and siblings away but forgot Deepak and this cat took care of him before Delilah and Doug. Also there is a story about Delgado loosing his legs. And last but not least, this AU has a lot of beuatiful OCs which help revialing canon characters from unexpected sides, like Calypso who is Clarissa's niece and at the same time is a friend of Dante and other puppies).

Sorry, a bit long foreward but I really like this project and I can talk about it a lot of good words cause I love 'underground' stories of 101DS. If I'm not mistaken, story begins with backstory of Dante. Let me summaraze the most important things. Dante's biological mother was a mutt and due to it Dante is black with white spots. Also, his siblings (two brothers and his favourite sister named Daffodil) died from fading puppy syndrome and his mother's humans called this curse and got rid of her and Dante. She said that all bad things occured due to Dante and he is the reason why all her puppies are dead. This caused him serious psychological trauma and Dante rans away crying. At one point he crossed the road was almost hit by a car but Pearl saved him. When she found out what happend to him she decided to ask Delilah for help. So he settles in with Dalmatian family. Here Dante found out his psychic skills and that smth terrible would happen to this family but nobody trusted him. In his dream he saw Daffy, his sister who's dead, and she advised him to attract their attention somehow and Dalmatians knew in advance that they need to be ready face a problem and overcome it. Dante said he miss her and Daffodil replied that she miss him too. This shows that there is very close connection between them and there will always be emptiness in Dante's heart cause he really loves his sis and no one will ever replace her for him. (CAUTION!Spoilers: Somthing will happen after which Dante is destined to die. Young adult (or late teen or adolescent — idk) Daffodil meets him and invites to go with her (maybe she is a ghost or it's just mind games in extreame situations — we don't really know). But Dante, despite the fact that he's very happy to see Daffy and wants to reunite with her, need to wake up cause someone who is still alive really needs him now. Therefore, with a heavy heart, he is forced to reject Daffy's offer and return to the world of the living.)

I really love relationship between Dante and Daffodil. It seems exciting for me cause this is complex and painful kind of siblings love but at the same time it is so pure and in its essence very sublime. This amazed me so much that I couldn't help but make fanart of these two as teens (or young adults). This is the least I can do to express all my love for this AU.

When I generated pictures with Lif from Metal Family on Dante base (from 101 Dalmatian Street), AI did some pictures wrong due to uncorrect/incomprehensible prompt (my fault kkk). And there was interesting white dalmatian girl. I really liked her so I decided to draw her as a character (with some chages, of course). By the way, I'm a keen on such kind of character ref sheets but I had never drawn them until now. Sooooo... That's my first time and I really love how it came out.

One more interesting thing: when I drew her, I watched cartoon called 'Lenore, the cute little dead girl'. And well, I decided to name this dalmatian girl Lenore xd. A tribute to a legend ✨
