How many black lives are going to take for people to care. For people not to brush it off by saying "All Lives Matter", as if when they say that, it makes it all better, don't make it about you, because all lives don't matter until #BlackLivesMatter. We can't say that we care for all beings and we want animal liberation if we don't mean ALL. Most of us, live in a Eurocentric society and we don't realise that everything we learn, revolves around people that looks like us. We forget that our reality is not the only reality. We need to understand that we have enjoy a privilege. Having privilege doesn't mean that your life hasn't been hard, but that your skin color is not what makes it harder. We can't expect to know what 400 years of institutionalized racism feels like. We need to listen, learn and support black people. We most strive to be better, to do better. We have to stand with black people. Justice for #GregoryFloyd #BreonnaTaylor #AhmaudArbery #TonyMacDade and the 10000s of black people, that have been murdered and continue to be murdered in the hands of a broken system, of a racists police force, put in place in the 1600s and tasked with chasing down runaway slaves and preventing slave revolts.
