A man in white could be seen sitting on a bench shaded by a somewhat lush tree, his head resting in his hand for support. He had fallen asleep while relaxing and enjoying the weather; his expression was quite peaceful, as one could actually see his face for once since his hood was pushed back.

Altaïr is actually self-conscious about his body. Some may believe it is because of the scars that cover his body from the several battles and fights that he’s been in, but it has to do a lot with that ‘anonymous’ feeling he urges for. Rarely does he ever let down the hood of his outfit to fully show his face, let alone be seen even half-naked. The Assassin doesn’t like the idea of being open to the world— he was taught to stay anonymous and secret.

Although he has been currently stressed from studying the Apple and trying to figure out its purpose, having a family of his own has been the source of Altaïr’s happiness for the past years ever since the beginning of what seemed to be the slow but inevitable end of the Brotherhood in Masyaf. Maria gave him something in his heart that he had never felt before— a love that he had never received before.
