i know who gaster is. dr wing ding gaster's true identity... is none other than legendary mongol chieftain, genghis khan.

so, for context, on chapter 5 release day, i spotted four bananas in the fruit basket in my house. but these bananas were, like, really green. my deranged deltarune deprived brain immediately latched onto this and kept thinking about it for some reason. green bananas? green gaster? green gaster bananas? on deltarune day? coincidence? i think NOT. i remembered the thing about genghis khan being 200% banana because 1 in 4 people are related to him and humans share 50% of their dna with bananas, and determined that the bananas were actually two genghis khans. i mentioned this to my friend, and he said "holy shit, genghis khan theory" as a joke. for some reason unknown even to myself, i actually turned it into a real theory. this... is that theory.

first, let's go back to undertale. gaster was the creator of the blueprints of the original determination machine. what if he also built a prototype with these blueprints? this first prototype worked incredibly well. to test it, he used...

himself.

he took some of his own cells and injected determination into them. the cells grew into a second genghis gaster, essentially cloning him. this is where the second genghis khan came from.

this machine had but one flaw. it was wildly unstable, and collapsed in on itself after a single use. the two gaster khans with sans and alphys got straight back to work trying to build a stable determination machine. their best attempt was the one we see in true lab, the machine that gave rise to flowey, pretty much causing the story of undertale to occur.

one day, as we all know, wd khanster fell into the core. wing twonghis jumped in after him to try and help. they were both shattered across space and time. they were broken into two pieces each. four total pieces. four bananas.

these fragments of wd genghis were sent to different places in the deltarune universe. one to hometown, one to digital roots, one to bit roots, and the final piece to the depths. this is the piece that we communicate with in game.

this is gaster khan's true objective, to get his bodies back together. i've solved deltarune. i expect toby fox himself to be at my door soon. mew mew out

i've seen a lot of mixed opinions on it, but i personally really liked it. flowery fucking sucks though he needs to eat an entire crate of thumb tacks
