Go ahead and open your image. Do not edit it yet. You can use topaz clean or reduce noise at this point. Here’s the image I’m using, if you’d like to follow along with the original: https://imgur.com/7Ltbqr3 

1. Open Brightness/Contrast (at the bottom of the layers window or Layers - New Adjustment - Brightness/Contrast). Set Brightness from -50 to -80  depending on your image. This will darken the image and bring it back to more normal colors.

2. Open Vibrance (same area as Brightness) and set Vibrance from +60 to +80 depending on the saturation of your image at the start.

3. Open Hue/Saturation and set to the following: Saturation +15, Lightness +10.

4. Open Levels, set to the following: 45    1.20   255.

5. Go back to Brightness/Contrast (optional) and set Brightness to +10.

6. An optional last step...Go back to Vibrance at set Vibrance to +25. It’s only a light change, but I think it makes a difference.

That’s it! You can go on to edit your image now. I hope this tutorial was helpful. Remember to change the strengths of each adjustment to match your image!

My canvas is 600x300px. The font is Arial at 120px, bold, spacing -50. For reference, I am using Windows 10, Photoshop CC.

1. Add your text, apply any edits/effects you want.

2. Duplicate the layer. Make a new layer and merge the duplicated layer with the new layer. This will rasterize the layer you will be using as a reflection, while preserving any effects you may have added.

3. Flip the text upside down. Edit - Transform - Flip Vertical. Line the text up so they mirror each other.

4. Slide that layer ^^^ underneath the original layer. Go to Edit - Transform - Perspective. Pull out the text on either side.

5. Go to Edit - Transform - Scale. Push the bottom of the text closer to the top. 

6. Select the bottom half of the text. Right click the selection and click on feather. Set feather from 10 to 20, depending on the size of the text. Then press the delete key a few times or erase the selection.

7. Set that layer to 60 opacity or so, depending on your text and picture.

Now you are done! Of course you can edit further, but this is a basic tutorial.

1. Open a new image at 100x100px. Set the background color, I’m using #424242. You can use any color.

2. Next, on a new raster layer, make a few dots in different colors in the center of the square. I used the default round brush (size 32, 50 hardness). The colors are #65EAE5, #4BA8A5, and #AEC8C7.

3. Go up to Effects - Distortion Effects - Curlicues. Set it to whatever you like, or match my own settings shown below.

4. Go to Effects - Reflection Effects - Kaleidoscope. To make it into a perfectly repeating pattern, rotation has to be set to 0 and the number of petals must be even. Otherwise, just set to your liking, or match my own settings shown below.

Now you’re done! Once you set it to pattern, it will look like this...
